Christ above all is the most glorious; His perfect work was pure laborious; On that cross He was made notorious; He died a horrible death inglorious; But rose from the tomb alive victorious; His saving work for us meritorious; So trust the Son, and He'll make you glorious!
Deep down, He's the beauty that we seek; For He created all human physique; If the creature's beauty leaves your knees weak; Compared to our God, the creature is bleak; In all His beauty He's utterly unique; He'll leave you breathless – you cannot speak; He's infinite in power and wisdom mystique; He came as a Lamb – both humble and meek; He cried on that cross with a forsaken shriek; And died to save the lost and weak; Then rose our conquering King unique! Come and see – He's what you seek!
Come His infinite value behold; He's worth more than all the gold; That 10 million earths could hold; If all you've owned, you priced and sold; He's still worth more – precious untold; He will not let your heart stay cold; For He died as was foretold; And rose again your heart to mold; And shape it into purest gold; So come and trust your King so bold; Not one mercy He'll withhold; O'er all your life He has controlled; Your righteous story He'll unfold!

"That's My King!" Who's Worthy Of All Adoration, Ransomed People From Every Nation, And Will Accomplish Perfect Racial Reconciliation!

Jesus Christ is the interracial King!  His bride is a little bit of everything!  And from His heart all love will spring! He died all peoples together to bring! Asian, African, and those in Beijing; By faith all as one to Him we'll cling; Join your voices and to Him sing! "Worthy is the Lamb!" shall loudly ring! There's no One like Him – our glorious King; Who will forever make us sing!
Some believe racism is totally dead; It's no longer a problem some have said; If you believe that, you've been misled; For in our hearts this evil's spread; Denial won't help the past we've led; But on our enemies Christ will tread! To cleanse our hearts His blood He shed; A Lamb to the slaughter He was led; Beaten, bruised with wrath He bled; And then was raised up from the dead; Our racists thoughts He will behead; And we will love each race instead; And be a family – He's the Head; If we'll confess this sin we've fed; And trust the Son Who for us bled; To the King of race we'll wed; He'll be our Husband Who will shred; Every racist thought we've bred; He'll set us free to love widespread; From every tribe and tongue who's fled; Into His arms just as He said; And then there's only peace ahead; For He's died to kill the dread; And leave racism fully dead!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

Jesus is worthy to open the scroll; For He was slain to save your soul; He alone has met God's goal; He's God the man Who takes control; He has no sin – He's perfect – whole; He's the only righteous soul; If you trust Him, He'll console; He alone can make you whole; And He alone can save your soul; So turn to Him – give Him control; In all of life, Him you'll extol!
He ransomed people from every nation; We have them here – Chinese and Haitian; And the only hope for reconciliation; Is for Christ the Lamb to be our fixation; As we look to His throne in holy fascination; He must be our race foundation; His blood is thicker than any relation; So look to Him – the Author of creation; He'll make us one without condemnation; He'll move us to love without hesitation; There will be no more types of segregation; Martin Luther King's dream will find consummation; As we look to the Lamb with exclamation; And cry "You are worthy!" in pure admiration; Peace evermore will be our habitation; As we reign with our King with no more temptation; But only more joy and love escalation; While we worship the Lamb with every nation!

"That's My King!" Who's The Greatest Delight, Possesses All Might, And One Day Soon He'll Make All Things Right!

The Father, Son, and Spirit delight; They're the King of kings outright; Ravishing beauty – out of sight; Enough words of praise you cannot write; More than the sun when shinning bright; They make its flames like darkest night; For They're the everlasting Light! With matchless power as their might; They'll only, always do what's right; For on that cross They won the fight! The Father, sin in flesh did smite; The Son did humbly die contrite; The Spirit raised the Son upright; And now to all They will invite; Into the arms of Christ – take flight; Believe in Him – your hearts ignite; New loves and joys He'll excite; For God will be your greatest delight!
Delight in God through humble prayer; This should be our love affair; On Him our wants and wishes bear; Upon Him we can cast our care; With Him there's none who can compare; And since He will always be there; We should never faint – despair; For in all things He'll never err; His pure goodness we'll declare; And in His joys we'll soon share!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

Mere duty is an obligation; And sometimes an irritation; Done without heart preparation; It alone is the wrong motivation; For Christian sanctification; It will lead to damnation; But we need salvation; So God makes a new creation; And fills our hearts with elation and inspiration; Because Christ is our new preoccupation; He's our Love infatuation; The centerpiece of civilization; God's final declaration; He died in condemnation; Then rose for our justification; Now He's the Treasure of the congregation; Who grants us transformation; And turns our obligation into joyful desperation; For Himself with adoration; Who's our all – the full summation; Of all good for every nation; In Him – the incarnation; Find the greatest culmination; Of your every expectation; May He be your only fascination!
At delight in the Father He truly excelled; Yet the desires of His heart were once withheld; From His Father's presence He was expelled; At the cross on Him the Father's wrath swelled; All because in our sin we had rebelled; "My God!  My God!" Forsaken He yelled; And by this love we are compelled; To delight in Him – our joy's upheld!  Of the excellent ones over all He's excelled!

"That's My King!" In The Book Of Romans!

My King is the Master of all masters Who set Paul apart for the Gospel of God!
He's the Son of God!
He's the Son of David Who's greater than David ever was!
He was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of Holiness by His resurrection from the dead!
He's Jesus Christ our Lord!
He gives us grace!
He's the reason we have peace with God!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!

He's the Person through Whom God will judge the secrets of men's hearts!
He's the righteousness of God that's been manifested apart from the law!
He's the One in Whom we have redemption!
He was put forward by His own Father as an anger removing sacrifice on that cross!
He was raised from the dead for our justification!
He died for the weak and the ungodly!
He died for sinners!
He justifies us by His blood!
He saves us from the wrath of God!

That's my King!

He reconciled us to God by His death!
He saved us by His life!
He's the One through Whom we can rejoice!
The free gift of grace that He purchased abounds for many!
Through Him we'll reign in life by the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness!
His one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men!
Through His obedience the many will be made righteous!
Because of Him, where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more!
Through Him grace will reign, leading to eternal life!
We can't live in sin anymore because of Him!
We died with Him and have been raised to walk in newness of life with Him!
We died to sin with Him!
We're alive to God in Him!
Sin will not reign over us because of Him!
We are His slaves!
He is the greatest, best, most loving, most caring Master in the universe!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

We died to the law and belong to Him!
He's our Husband Who loves us like no other!
Now one with Him, we can bear fruit for God!
He's the One Who will deliver us from this body of death!
There is therefore now no condemnation in Him!
In Him we are set free from the law of sin and death!
He came in the likeness of sinful flesh and was condemned in the flesh so that we could be forgiven!
Now the righteousness requirement of the law can be fulfilled in us because of Him!
Christ and His Spirit are in us!
The very Spirit Who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us!
We are fellow heirs with Christ!
Because of Him the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed to us!
In Him EVERYTHING is working together for our good!
We are being conformed into His image!
Since God did not even spare Him for our sake, He will most certainly give us all things!
Since God in Christ is for us, no one can be against us!
Nothing can separate us from His love!
In tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, and sword we are more than conquerors through Him Who loves us!
Neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Him!

That's my King!

He is God over all, blessed forever. Amen!
He's the sovereign God Who has mercy on whom He'll have mercy and hardens whom He'll harden!
He's the Stone of stumbling and the Rock of offense!
Whoever believes on Him shall never be put to shame!
He had a zeal for God like no other!
He has His own perfect righteousness and submitted to God's righteousness all at the same time!
He's the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes!
You must confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead and you shall be saved!
Everyone who calls on His name shall be saved!
Faith comes by hearing through His Word!
He's the Deliverer Who came from Zion!
He banished ungodliness from Jacob!
Through His covenant with us He will take away all our sins!
From Him and through Him and to Him are all things – to Him be glory forever Amen!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

We are one body in Him!
His love was genuine!
He abhors what is evil!
He holds fast to what is good!
He loves with affection like no other!
He's outdone everyone in showing honor!
He was never slothful but was fervent in spirit and served the Lord like no other!
He rejoiced in hope!
He was patient in tribulation!
He was constant in prayer!
He contributed to the needs of the saints and showed hospitality!
He blessed those who persecuted Him!
He rejoices with those who rejoice and weeps with those who weep!
He lived in harmony with those around Him!
He was not haughty but associated with the lowly and became the lowliest of the lowly on that cross!
He never repaid evil for evil but repaid evil with good!
He never avenged Himself, but left it to the wrath of God!
He was not overcome by evil, but He overcame evil with good!
He was subject to the governing authorities!
He owed no one anything except to love one another!
He loved his neighbor as Himself in perfect holiness and righteousness!

That's my King!

We belong to Him!
We live to Him!
We die to Him!
He is Lord of the living!
He is Lord of the dead!
In Him there is nothing unclean in itself!
He did not please Himself but "The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me."
He became a Servant to the circumcised to show God's truthfulness, in other to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, and in other that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy!
All that Paul accomplished was Christ in Paul accomplishing it for the glory of His name!
Jesus Christ is the Author, Subject, Theme, Outline, Introduction, Body, Conclusion, Structure, Hero, and Climax of this greatest letter ever written by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God the Father!

"That's My King!" Whose Words Will Never Pass Away But Give New Life Each Passing Day For He's The Life, The Truth, The Way!

The grass withers and flowers fade; But our God's Word's forever stayed; Jesus spoke these Word's conveyed; With grace and truth to be obeyed; He is the God-Man – full displayed; And all things in this world He made; He came with us to make a trade; Our sin for goodness – His arrayed; For this exchange He was betrayed; On Him our sin was fully laid; For on that cross our debt was paid; He took God's wrath – on Him it weighed; But then He did what all dismayed; Rose from the grave – death He'd evade; And now we're free – no more afraid; For in our lives mercies pervade; For He's our everlasting shade; In all our trials He'll be our aid; Sings over us – a serenade; Our Lover-God will not be swayed; He loves us still – He's on crusade; To make us like His Son displayed; And in our hearts with joy invade; Do you know Him? - don't masquerade; For God the Son cannot be played; So trust Him now and you'll be saved; For Him to be your all we prayed!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

Everything in heaven with burn; At our mighty King's return; This should be your great concern; Please don't the Words of Jesus spurn; But to Him bow your knees and learn; From your sin He'll make you turn; For Him alone He'll make you yearn; Since your salvation He did earn!
If you want to hear God's Word; And get your heart forever stirred; Don't trust your heart or feelings blurred; Open the Book where Christ is heard; His Word from here will not be slurred; His truth to you shall be transferred; It is the method He preferred; To go elsewhere is just absurd; Take up and read, you've been referred; To this task be undeterred!
Jesus' Words are sweetest sweet; Like richest honey we would eat; They give us light and make complete; They warm our hearts with deepest heat; Reveal to us our vain conceit; And show us how to sin defeat; They're solid like diamond concrete; Yet everlasting – none delete; We long for Him – our greatest treat; So come Lord Jesus – You we'll meet; And laugh and sing on golden street; You are our all – the great elite!

"That's My King!" Who Came From Mary's Virgin Womb And Faced His Father's Wrathful Doom Then Resurrected From the Tomb To Be Our Everlasting Groom!

Why do you live upon the earth? 

What's your treasure – greatest worth? 

What fills your heart with sweetest mirth?  

Oh may it start with virgin birth! 

When God the Son came down to earth!  

He is our life's most precious worth!

That's my King!

Sadducees denied the resurrection

They came with a question for insurrection

But were overwhelmed by Christ's objection

He shut their mouths with truth correction

To His church He gives protection

From false teachers' death infection

On that cross He faced rejection

Even though He was perfection

Took on Him our sin collection

But gave the tomb the great ejection

For He's the life and resurrection! 

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

He's worthy of life-long reflection! 

He alone is our connection

To the God of all complexion

He'll give your life a new direction

Fill your heart with pure affection

You will never face rejection

For He's the God of your election

And He'll bring you to perfection!

That's my King!

Jesus told them they were wrong

Though they've read the Word lifelong

They don't know it – sounding gong

They deny that God is strong

He'll raise the dead and life prolong

To His family you'll belong

And in your heart He'll put a song

Join the everlasting throng

And praise His name with voices strong!

That's my King!

Marriage on earth will face cessation

Then – eternal celebration

The Lamb's our Spouse – our perfect relation

The church is His bride at the consummation

From every tongue and tribe and nation

He'll love and support without accusation

He'll protect and provide with no frustration

He satisfies your deepest aspiration

He's worthy of every and all adoration

Because on that cross He saved from damnation

To bring us the joys of eternal salvation

He's God of the living with no condemnation

Trust in Him now with no reservation

He'll fill you with fullness of joy's elation

And thus we praise the incarnation

The Word made flesh in combination

Let us adore in admiration!

There’s No Human Marriage And No Rejection

In Heaven Where Christ Is Every Perfection

He’s God Of The Living And Our Protection

God gave to him to rule below

Authority did God bestow

On kings and rulers high and low

For through this rule God's blessings grow

Even if man's rule below

God's good commandments out they throw

Against this rule will come God's woe

For He will punish every foe

And soon someday though time seems slow

Justice like waters down will flow

And righteousness o'er all He'll sow

For Christ did die once long ago

Upon Himself He took God's woe

That you deserve who were God's foe

"That's My King!" Who Was Single All His Life And Conquered Every Strife Then Gave His Precious Life So We Could Be His Wife!

The pleasures of marriage, Jesus never knew; He lived and died – the single Jew; There are joys in sex and intimacy true; But from a greater joy He drew; His Father's the greatest pleasure He knew; Pleasures forevermore and joys through and through! His delights in the Father flourished and grew; The pleasures of sin away He threw; No lust His heart would ever pursue; For God's beauty itself is the greatest view; His heart was crushed when this Beauty withdrew; For on that cross God's wrath would spew; Forsaken by God He paid our due; He became sin – for me and for you; Though no sin to Him would ever accrue; Then He arose and made all things new! To bring you to God – a bride clean and true; Come to Him now – your desires He'll subdue; You'll cry from your heart:  "All my joy is You!"
Oh Father please come – my need seems dire; Please come help me fight overwhelming desire; Oh God you alone can put out the fire;  Turn my eyes upon You and lift me up higher; To trust and obey all that You require; May I find "Christ is all!" –  my great King and Sire; And delight in Him – our greatest Desire!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

God's Word says singleness is the best way; And you'll be happier if single you stay; All your attention on God you can lay; He'll fill all your thoughts – to Him you can pray; He wants you alone with Him everyday; A Lover Who's jealous and won't let you stray; He's the fountain of all delight so survey; His glory about beauty on full display; He died to take all your sins away; And lives to give you life His way; So trust in Him and fight to obey; He'll grant you contentment – come what may!
One day you'll be married for eternal duration; This fact is certain – God's declaration; For all who trust in Christ for salvation; Will marry the Lamb in the new creation; His bride you will be from every nation; You'll marry the King – the best combination; Most loving, most kind, your closest relation; The greatest Spouse – beyond all expectation!  If you have Him, fear no deprivation; You'll know all is good at the consummation; Where joys in Him pass all imagination; And grow forever in great adoration; The Husband-King is all compensation; So find in Him life's full celebration!

"That's My King!" Who's The Beloved Stone And Son Whom Wicked Men Would Kill And Shun But Through His Death His Work Is Done – Now He's Alive Second To None!

God planted His vineyard and expected fruit

Israel – His beloved, tender shoot

But sadly her leaders had no root

Glory and money was their pursuit

Their sin and rebellion was acute

They killed the prophets – truth dilute

His vineyard pure they did pollute

And took the wicked, murderous route

So when Christ came, Him they'd refute

And cut Him down – His voice mute

But He's the Christ – He won't be mute!  

He ended death and killed its root!  

For He's Messiah – God's True Shoot!  

The Israelite Who'd bear much fruit!  

To save His bride was His pursuit

And all her wickedness refute

So trust Him now – He will recruit

And put you on a God pursuit!

That's my King!

God's patience runs with sinners long

In spite of all that they've done wrong

He cries: “Please turn and come along!

Follow Me where you belong!

I don't delight in judgment strong!

That's why I sent My Son along!” 

God made Him who knew no wrong

To be the wrong and suffer long

So He could save – make us belong

So trust the Savior Who is strong

His mercy-heart is your new song!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

If the Christ you do reject

Against God's wrath He won't protect

And only curse you can expect

For Christ alone can wrath deflect

Since on that cross He hung erect

And took God's wrath Himself direct

He alone can saved the wrecked

Since He'd die then resurrect

And all our blessings there collect

Against all foes He will protect

So trust Him now and you're elect

His glory then you will reflect

And from your sins He will perfect

Of joy He'll be your great object!

That's my King!

Since He gave His life for your sin to atone

Rejected by men and God all alone

Then conquered the grave – and death's overthrown

He's alive not dead – from the tomb He's flown

Now He rules over all upon His throne

Come to Him now – no longer postpone

Believe in the Savior and bow to this Stone

His Word in your heart will ever be sown

He'll give you a love – a love unknown

Your joys shall rise in Christ alone

And you He'll hold tight and never disown!

By Christ’s Rejection Died Alone

"That's My King!" Who Owns All Authority On High, False Teachers' Evil Tongues He'd Tie, Then Speak The Truth And For Us Die!

Authority is the right and power to command

To Whom will you bow and not withstand

Christ the King rules every land

All other powers are sinking sand

His Kingdom's rule will ever expand

So turn from self-rule and what you've planned

Submit to Him and give your hand

To do with joy His command

His death was just – God's right demand

He rose alive in glory grand

And now if you by faith will stand

You'll enter in the promised land! 

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

Who will you, above all, obey?

That's your king no matter what you say

The greatest king that makes us stray

Is our king-self that we must slay

Now put king-self to death and say:

“My Christ is all! - For all He'd pay!” 

He died and rose on the third day!  

To take your wicked sin away

And be the King you will obey

He'll never let you go astray

But gives His mercy full display

In your new life He is the way!

That's my King!

They come to God and want to question

Instead they should bow and make confession

All authority's in His possession

He raised the dead – a bold impression

He said, “I AM!” - His God expression

He forgave sins – that's only God's discretion

He has all power but no oppression

He can save from all aggression

And heal your every paralyzing depression

He'll save from every evil transgression

He ever lives to make intercession

His aim is to be your greatest obsession! 

That's my King!

Jesus responds – I will question you

Like God said to Job, now brace for what's true

Stand back my friends – don't mess with this Jew!

He won't answer the fool like we often do

He reveals their cowardly hearts that He knew

And shows that they must be born anew!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!

God is silent to those full of pride

In humility bow – set self aside

He loves the humble with arms open wide

His mercy is free to all who abide

By faith in Him – in His mercy hide

For God was silent to Christ when He cried:

“My God! My God! You've left My side!” 

Oh the sad silence when Jesus died

But God raised Him up – all mercies supplied

God's silence is broken for all worldwide

So trust in Him now and be His pure bride

He'll save you forever – your needs He'll provide

And fill you with joy that no one can hide!

Christ Jesus Reigns, Owning All Authority

In Everything He Bleeds Superiority

Don’t Question Him For He’s Right In The Majority

He’s Everlasting With Utmost Seniority

Yet He Died On That Cross And Was Counted Inferiority

Bearing God’s Wrath In Horrific Deteriority

But Rose Up From The Dead With All Superiority

Saving From Every Nation: The All And The Minority

So Trust In Him As Your First Priority

And Bow Down To His God-Man Authority

Who Is Himself Our Joy Superiority!
