"That's My King!" Who's The Only True And Living Christ So By False Christ's Don't Be Enticed To Save His Elect He Alone Sufficed For By The Whip He's Cut And Sliced Then Died And Wrapped In Grave Clothes Spiced But Rose Alive – The Living Christ – Oh Great Salvation's Highly Priced And Now Hell's Fires Have All Been Iced!

He's the way, the truth, and the life Who came to end the strife, die for His wife, and give His elect everlasting life!
Don't believe any new revelation; False christ's and gospel's lead to damnation; But go back to the foundation; The Word of God – His perfect quotation; It tells all we need for spiritual formation; His love song to us in full summation; Who came to save from every nation; And make us His own without condemnation!
Don't be deceived by wonders and signs; All this, God's Word, it undermines; He has spoken and this defines; His perfect will and His designs; Every Word of His combines; To give us joy with no confines; The joy He'll give has no declines; It's deep like everlasting mines!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

All His elect He did select He will collect; Destroy every evil sect; False christ's and prophets will be wrecked; All lies about Him He'll reject; And disinfect the truth correct; Protect His own with due respect; God's wrath He'd deflect; And never neglect His beloved elect but soon resurrect; Then our lives direct; And give us more joy than we can expect; For He's our all in all affect!
He'll come in the clouds with great glory and power; A refuge and strength – a mighty strong tower; All of our enemies He will devour; They'll cry to the mountains with shaking and cower; And finally He'll ground them all into powder; But blessings upon His people He'll shower; And by His Spirit He will empower to live for His glory in every hour!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who Was Made An Abomination Enduring Desolation While Facing Our Damnation Then Rose For Our Justification To Save Elect From Every Nation!

All were left desolate by His face so marred; Couldn't tell He's a man – so bruised and scarred; He's like a body burnt and charred; From God's presence He was barred; And took our curse to wrath discard; An abomination God would regard; His only Son He loved yet jarred; With curse and judgment He'd bombard; And from His Son turn His face hard; And yet because He was so marred; God will always have our guard; And from His presence we're not barred; Enjoy pleasures much enlarged that come forever supercharged!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?

On that cross He was made an abomination; God made Him to be sin Who knew no deviation; From God's law in full summation; He's the only perfect man in total consecration; Yet He took upon Himself all sinful degradation; And every vile manner of God-abomination; Then He swallowed condemnation; And rose in celebration; So that we could have salvation; And live for Him as our foundation; So come and fully trust the God-Man incarnation; He'll take all your abomination that causes desolation and be your meditation – your "Christ is all!" preoccupation!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Greatest Father Of All Life He's The Author He Molds As The Potter His Son He Would Slaughter Then Raise And Give Honor In Life There's None Larger So Bow To Your Father!

He's the God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ; By sin He can't be enticed, and His Word for all the universe sufficed!
From everlasting to everlasting He's the One guarantee; He's the great One in Three; A Spirit you can't see; Self-sufficient and free; He's in the heavens and does all He wants with glee; He knows all things – what will and could be; Ordained each day in His decree; Perfect and holy in every degree; Created all things with His Word as the key; In omnipotent power He parted the Red Sea; He loves the whole world – that includes you and me; He sent His Son to die on that tree; And raised Him alive to set us all  free!
He's the great I AM; Who called Abraham; Then he passed the exam; Where God provided the ram; He's the Father Who can save or damn; So trust in the slain Lamb; Who's also the great I AM!
He's the Father of lights; He made the days and the nights; He'll take you to new heights; And for His children He fights!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

He's measured the waters in the hollow of His hand; He's marked off the heavens with His mighty span; The nations are nothing like a grain of sand; A drop in the bucket against Him can't stand; There's none like Him, so understand; He rules over all by His command; And every event He's perfectly planned!
He's the Father Who loves you the best; He's the God Who is love and pursues you with zest; Provides all your needs and makes sure you're blessed; Works all for your good on a holiness quest; And though you are stressed, distressed, and even depressed; He pursues you with mercy without any rest; He showed His great love and truly impressed; When He gave up the best of what He possessed; He gave up His Son on that cross so distressed; And crushed Him with wrath, alone and undressed; But raised Him alive to conquer the pest; And now in His righteousness you can be dressed; Forgiven from all the law you've transgressed; He'll remove your sins as far as east is from west; Just trust in His Son Who past the great test; With Him you'll be forever obsessed; Filled with pure joy at Your Father's request!

"That's My King!" Who Endured To The End But Was Not Saved And Did Descend To Bear God's Wrath And Life Extend To Those Who Trust Him As Their Friend!

When He died all His work was done; He nailed perfection under the sun; Endured to the end as second to none; And put the devil on the run; Conquered the grave to evil stun; He's heaven's glory – God the Son; And all because His work is done; You can endure – new life's begun!
He endured to the end for His sinful bride; She is the Church for whom He died; Though she's gone astray quite wide; Against Him sinned and fought and lied; For Her "Forsaken!" He has cried!  He suffered death for all her pride; Wrath and love in kiss collide; For her in wrath He's cast outside; Then rose to make her joy abide; To give her beauty from His side; She's the lover He has eyed; And calls her to endure though tried; To go the distance He's the guide; And all she needs He has supplied; In Him she must and will abide; For she will never leave His side; And though she'll sin, and He will chide; He does this so His love's applied; In Him all pleasure He'll provide; His Gospel news will spread worldwide!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

Enduring to the end can't be done alone; We need each other God has shown; To go astray we all are prone; So when in sin and self we roam; We need our friends who won't condone; The evil seed of sin we've sown; Our good friends love and help dethrone; The sinful pride we've often known; So let us love as Christ has shown; For He is our rejected Stone; Who gave His life and did atone; By faith we are His flesh and bone; With patient care let's not postpone; But love church family as our own; In Christ we know his love unknown; So we can love with Him alone!
May we be together with deep affection; Love in all our imperfection; Only here is sure protection; We meet on day of resurrection; Spur on to love and new direction; Confirm our calling and election; Bear with weakness and rejection; Humbly give and take correction; Submit to others with no objection; Serve each other with affection; Bear with others' imperfection; Since our Christ Who is perfection; Died for sinners' insurrection; Rose alive in resurrection; Now we love from deep reflection; On that cross of His rejection!

That's my King!  That's my King!

Christ Is All In Psalm 143!

The blessings asked for in Psalm 143 were withheld from Jesus on that cross and given to Him in His resurrection so that we could enjoy Psalm 143 blessings forevermore:

On that cross, God the Father did not give ear to His Son's pleas for mercy.  In His faithfulness He answered Christ with wrath and poured out His righteous judgment upon Him.  Though Jesus was the One Living Being Who was righteous before God, God entered into judgment with His suffering servant to save unrighteous sinners.  Christ was made God's enemy on that cross and crushed beyond the ground into the grave and faced the darkest darkness anyone has ever faced.  Jesus' spirit fainted within Him, and His heart was appalled.  He is the greatest thing God has ever done; He is the greatest work of God's hand.  Yet on that cross, Jesus stretched out His hands to His Father and found no help; He thirsted for God and found no refreshment; He was not answered quickly; His spirit failed.  God's face was hidden from Him, and He did go down to the pit.  No steadfast love was shown to Him on that cross though He always trusted perfectly in God.  He was not delivered from His enemies, and He fled to God for refuge but found none!  He did God's will perfectly as no one has ever done before, and He had God's Spirit without measure.  For His name's sake the LORD did not preserve Christ's life, and in God's righteousness His soul was not brought out of trouble!  In God's steadfast love for sinners he cut off His own Son to destroy the adversaries of all our souls - through His most beloved Suffering Servant - the LORD Jesus Christ!

And yet, God did answer Him quickly and raised Him from the dead!  God did not hide His face from Him but gave Him life and did not let Him stay in the pit!  He did hear His Father's steadfast love on the morning of the third day!  God delivered Him from all of His enemies and raised Him from the grave because He did all His will perfectly and fled to Him for refuge!  The Father did preserve His life and bring His soul out of trouble for His name's sake by the resurrection from the dead!  In God's steadfast love He cut off all of our enemies and destroyed every adversary of our souls by cutting off His own Son and raising Him from the dead!
