The Cry From The Womb

I am utterly alone.

I am in darkness.

No one wants me.

No one (it seems) loves me.

My father and mother have forsaken me, and even want to kill me.

No doctors will help me - they only seek to kill me.

Some of the most powerful people in the world fight against me having even the most basic human rights.

Millions believe I am not even human - not worthy of life outside the womb.

Many pastors and Christians do not stand up for me.

Many who claim to love me make voting decisions that ensure I will never see the light of day.

Laws are in place to ensure I continue to be utterly abused and murdered.

I am the most innocent.

I am the most persecuted.

I am the most vulnerable.

I am the most helpless.

I am the most forgotten.

I am the most alone.

I am the most widely killed, oppressed, and abused in the history of mankind.

Soon, I will face one of the most gruesome deaths imaginable - a man will use a knife to cut off my arms and legs and head - and I will scream and cry - but no one will hear - no one will care.

I am an unborn child about to be aborted.

"For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the LORD will take me in." Psalm 27:10

Show Off His Beauty With Your Body

"The reason you have a body is to make the beauty of Christ known . . . The beauty of Jesus Christ was not the beauty of looks, it was the beauty of love. The beauty of Jesus Christ was the beauty of sacrifice, not the beauty of skin. Where is beauty in God’s eyes? And it isn’t on your skin. It isn’t whether you’re having a bad hair day. It isn’t on whether your hips are too broad or your muscles are not there. It’s just not there! You’re gonna die real soon, and that’s gonna mean ZERO on your death bed! And everything that matters to you will be: - have I used the little arms that I have, have I used the shape that I have to love people, to get my arms around people, to take things to people when they need them . . . Women and men have bodies to give evidence by the way you use your bodies that Jesus is your treasure."

John Piper

Take Your Crown Off For The King Of Kings!

"One of the most glorious pieces of music ever written, Handel’s Messiah, has of course the great Hallelujah Chorus: 'The kingdom of this world is become the Kingdom of our LORD and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!' That Hallelujah Chorus, actually the whole presentation of The Messiah, was sung and performed in London in 1843. And when it got to the Hallelujah Chorus, Queen Victoria stood in her seat and took off her crown. My friends, look for rulers who know how to take off their crowns in the presence of the true King of kings – who will say: 'Let Your law be my law.'"

Jesus Christ: The Only One Who Is Worthy!

Adam: Right after creation, he sinned against God by eating the forbidden fruit.

Noah: Right after the flood (a kind of new creation), he sinned against God by getting drunk.

Abraham: Right after God promised him that his very own son would be the son of promise (Gen. 15), he sinned against God in unbelief by sleeping with Hagar to have a son.

Isaac: Right after God promised him the blessings of Abraham (Gen. 26), he sinned against God by lying to Abimelech about his wife being his sister.

Jacob: Right after God promised him the blessings of Abraham and changed his name to Israel (Gen. 35), he sinned against God by favoring Joseph over all his other sons, causing great family strife and division.

Moses: Right after God used Moses to deliver God's people out of slavery in Egypt and bring them to the boarders of the promised land (Exodus; Num. 13-14), he sinned against God by striking the rock and failing to honor God.

Joshua: Right after he renewed the covenant with God by reading the law (Josh. 8), he sinned against God by not asking counsel from the LORD about the peace treaty with the Gibeonites.

Saul: Right after God anointed Saul to be the first King of Israel and he began to fight God's enemies (1 Sam. 10-13), he sinned against God by offering an unlawful sacrifice.

David: Right after God made a covenant with David and he won several victories over God's enemies (2 Sam.7-10), he sinned against God by committing adultery with Bathsheba and murdering her husband.

Jesus: Where Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Saul, and David failed - Jesus succeeded and was totally and absolutely victorious! He never sinned! He trusted perfectly, loved perfectly, lived perfectly and died on that cross and rose again from the dead so that all who repent and believe in Him shall be saved!

Who Is Jesus?

I'm not sure who wrote this, but it will preach! . . .

"Who is Jesus?

In chemistry, He turned water to wine!

In biology, He was born without the normal conception!

In physics, He overcame the law of gravity when He ascended into heaven!

In economics, He overcame the law of diminishing returns by feeding 5,000 men with two fishes and five loaves of bread!

In medicine, He cured the sick and the blind without administering a single dose of medicine!

In history, He is the beginning and the end!

In government, He said that the government would be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, and of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end!

In religion, He said no one comes to the Father except through Me!

So who is He?

He is Jesus Christ!

Join me and let's celebrate Him, He is worthy!

Remain in God and seek His face always! Amen!

In God, I have found everything!

Jesus is the greatest Man in history!

Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master!

He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher!

He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer!

He had no army, yet kings feared Him!

He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world!

He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him!

He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today!

I feel honored to serve such a Leader Who loves us!"

Six Reasons For The Virgin Birth

Isaiah 7:14: Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

1. The Virgin Birth Happened Because God Said It Would

a. The virgin birth was not copied from pagan myth religions

b. The virgin birth is the fulfillment of God’s Word and promise

2. The Virgin Birth Happened Miraculously

3. The Virgin Birth Happened Because Jesus Had To Be Truly Man

a. The Son of God had to be born as a man so that He could live as a man should live before God

b. The Son of God had to be born as a man so that He could die the death sinful men deserve to die; or The Son of God had to be born as a man so that He could be a merciful and faithful high priest and make propitiation for the sins of the people

c. The Son of God had to be born as a man so that He is able to help those who are being tempted

d. The Son of God had to be born as a man so that He might humble Himself and be exalted

e. The Son of God had to be born as a man so that He might be the victorious last Adam

f. The Son of God had to be born as a man so that we might have an example to know how to live and love one another

4. The Virgin Birth Happened Because Jesus Had To Be A Sinless Man

5. The Virgin Birth Happened Because Jesus Had To Be Truly God

Matthew 1:23: Behold, the virgin shall conceive & bear a son, & they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us).

John Eadie: The womb of the virgin Mary was the bridal chamber where the divine and human natures of Christ were inseparably joined together.

Colossians 1:19: For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell
Hebrews 1:3: He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature
Hebrews 1:6: Let all God's angels worship him.
Hebrews 1:8: But of the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever"
Romans 9:5: the Christ who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen.
Titus 2:13: our great God and Savior Jesus Christ
John 5:18: This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
John 14:9: Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
John 8:58: Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am."
John 20:28: Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"

WLC 38: Why was it requisite that the Mediator should be God? It was necessary that the Mediator should be God, that he might sustain and keep the human nature from sinking under the infinite wrath of God, and the power of death; give worth and efficacy to his sufferings, obedience, and intercession, and to satisfy God's justice; procure his favour; purchase a peculiar people, give his Spirit to them, conquer all their enemies, and bring them to everlasting salvation.

6. The Virgin Birth Happened To Comfort And Encourage God's People

Martyn Lloyd-Jones: The Son of God became the Son of man that sons of men might become sons of God.
