"That's My King!" Who Can Make The Dirtiest Clean!

He made both the clean and unclean animal, but proclaimed all foods acceptable through His life infallible and radical giving us joy in God maximal!
He's the clean place Who makes all the ground around Him clean space no matter how base by His amazing grace!
He's the cleanest and keenest Who's furtherest from the meanest!
He's clean like you've never seen, perfect in every gene, the purest, holiest scene, more majestic than any queen!
In His blood take a bath to save you from God's wrath and lead you down salvation's everlasting path!
His life, death, and resurrection cry:  "Atone!"  For this purpose His Word was sown to break our hearts of stone that we might never be alone but truly be known by the God Who saved us for His own!
He heals all our diseases and seizes what pleases through the cross alone His Father He appeases!
If you want to be clean, don't wait seven days, there are no delays, just turn your gaze to His face full of praise!
You can be pure, for His victory is sure through which He Himself is the cure!
He came to clean the inside of the cup – to show us down is the new up so that with God we might forever sup!
His blood sprinkles clean hearts from the beginning He starts and doesn't stop till He cleanses all parts!
He became unclean on that cross where everything He lost as He counted the cost – His love we can never exhaust though we're tossed, bossed, and by all manner of trials criss-crossed!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

Through His death on the tree He makes dirt of every degree flee, just make your plea and come and see how you can be set free by the great One in Three!
He'll help you do drugs and alcohol no more; they've left your life sore; they're only a bore; His law you ignore; from your true life they tore; but He can restore and make you adore – His goodness and mercy forevermore!
If to sexual addiction you're chained, His blood was drained that you could be reclaimed and have your purity regained and enjoy eternal life unstained!
If you've faced abuse in the past, His love and grace are so vast, He can heal what's amassed and your past He'll recast at last into joy and peace unsurpassed!
If to pride you've not yet died, He was pierced in His side to make you His humble bride with Him to forever abide!
He'll set you free from the love of money - on the cross He got bloody to show you His love is sweeter than honey and brighter than sunny!
If your anger you can't control, He'll make you whole 'cause He gave up His soul, therefore He's worthy to open the scroll with God's glory as His most holy goal!
No matter what your sin whether you're addicted to skin, gin, what has been, or all manner of darkness within Jesus can win!
For He didn't just die when He let out the cry into the dark sky seen by every eye!
He said:  "It is finished!" and His glory would never be diminished!
He rose up from the grave so that you He might save, make you brave, and cause you to Him alone crave!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who Dries The Flow Of Blood With The Cries Of His Own Unquenchable Flood!

The woman's blood was dried up by His flood consuming cup!
He dried up her incurable, crippling blood flow by an unconquerable, cleansing flood of His own blood!
He opened up a fountain that cleanses from sin and uncleanliness!
He swallows up all blood shed with an unquenchable waterfall of His own blood!
His blood flowed out until He was dead so we could enjoy life without any dread!
He shed His blood in order to renew His people in knowledge after the image of their Creator!
He saved us by the flood of floods of the blood of bloods!
His blood is more precious than all the oceans of gold in millions of universes!
Machen said one drop of His blood has more value for our own salvation and for the hope of this world than all the rivers of blood that have flowed upon the battlefields of history!

That's my King!  I wonder if you're covered in His blood today?!

The voice of His blood cries out louder than that of Abel's so that the curse on creation might be totally reversed!
Life is in the blood and the blood is the life, and He lived the life of lives so that through His blood we might have life!
His is the passover blood that we place over the doorposts of our hearts by faith to save us from the wrath to come!
His blood alone can purify, sanctify, and justify all those who turn and trust in Him!
His innocent blood was shed to save guilty blood of every shade, grade, and escapade!
God required His blood to be poured out so that the wicked person who repents will not die for his own sin!
His blood of the New Covenant was poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins!
Faced with the agonizing reality of the cross, His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground!
Unless you eat His flesh and drink His blood, you have no life in you!
Whoever feeds on His flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life, and He'll raise You up on the last day!

That's my King!

He's God and obtained the church with His own blood!
God put Him forward as an anger removing sacrifice by His blood, to be received by faith!
We've been justified by His blood!
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace!
In Him you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ!
Through Him God is reconciling all things to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross!
He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of His own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

He offered Himself without blemish to God, through the eternal Spirit, so that His blood might purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God!
Now we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus!
He suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through His own blood!
You were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot!
His blood cleanses us from all sin!
He loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood!
By His blood He ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation!
He makes dirty robes of sin and filthiness clean by washing them in His blood – the blood of the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world!
We conquer by the blood of the Lamb!
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever!  Amen!

"That's My King!" Who's The Olympian Of All Olympians!

Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Olympian: Majestic in manner; Surpassing all others in scope and effect . . . One who is superior to all others; exalted; very powerful, large, or impressive.

This will preach . . . .

Jesus is the greatest Olympian of all time, and no one can ever compare with Him!
He's the majestic of the majestic!
He's more majestic in manner than all the manners that have ever been produced, introduced, or reproduced!
He surpasses all others in scope and effect like this world has never seen!
The scope of His influence on this universe is incomparable!
The far reaching effects of His life, death, resurrection cannot be contained, chained, or fully explained!
He's the One Who's superior to all others including brothers, mothers, and all one anothers!
He's in a class by Himself!
He's stands on a podium made by Himself, upheld by Himself, and all by Himself!
To know Him and to be known by Him is worth more than all the gold, silver, and bronze of 10 trillion universes!
His Word is worth more than thousands of pieces of gold and silver!
He's the priceless golden treasure of this universe Who alone can satisfy your soul!

He's superior to all others by an infinite distance!

He's exalted!

He's all-powerful!

He's larger than life and death!

He's the most impressive phenomenon that has ever crossed the horizon of this world!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!

He ran the only perfect race that's ever been run in the history of this world!

He overcomes everyone with His irresistible grace and gets everyone and everything He wants!
He ran the fastest race, the smartest race, the longest race, and the best race all at the same time!
His life was full of perfect "10's" in all areas – any time, every time, all the time!
He's the only one Who disciplined His body perfectly with perpetually passionate power to produce the purest personal performance of any person Who has ever crossed the horizon of this world!
He's dedicated!
He's determined!
He's focused!
He's passionate!
He's strong!
He's gifted!
He's talented!
He's powerful!
He's skilled!
He's precise!
He's undaunted!
He's relentless!
He's unbreakable!
He's unstoppable!
He's unbeatable!
All He does is win!

He's the GOD-MAN Who always wins!

That's my King!

He created Michael Phelps; gave him all his gifts, talents, abilities, and work ethic; caused him to be born in an environment where those gifts could all be developed; gave him all the opportunities he was given to succeed; gave him all his wins and medals; and upholds him and everything else in this universe by the Word of His power!
He's Simone Biles' Creator, Lord, and Master; He knitted her together in her mother's womb, gave her all of her gifts, strength, and abilities, and only through His grace, love, and mercy can she run, jump, fly, flip, cartwheel, balance, and handstand for the glory of God!
He made Usain Bolt's legs; He made Usain Bolt fast; He gives Usain Bolt life and breath and everything; and He deserves all the glory for everything Usain Bolt ever did! Jesus is the greatest!
May God save all the Olympic athletes (pray for that!) so that when they compete, they feel King Jesus' pleasure and do all for His glory! (Like Eric Liddell!)
He's the Dream Team of dream teams, and He's the deepest dream of every human heart whether they know it or not!

He wins everything by just as many points as He pleases!

He wins everything by an infinite amount!
There's no one like Him! In fact, He's the only true God!
When you see these athletes perform, may their dedication, talent, power, glory, and beauty always point you to their Creator and Sustainer Who gave them all these gifts and Who is infinitely more powerful, glorious, and beautiful than all of them combined by an infinite distance!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

He's the Underdog of underdogs and the Champion of champions all at the same time!
He won it all through defeat and through defeat He won it all!
He took upon Himself all your loses, failures, defeats, and rejections so that you might never lose, fail, be defeated, or be rejected again!
He took upon Himself your laziness, weakness, lack of dedication, sin, and ugliness so that you might be revived, strengthened, committed, forgiven, and beautiful in God's eyes – covered in the very righteousness of Jesus Christ Himself!
He lost everything that matters most on that cross so that He might win it all back and a whole lot more!
He was absolutely crushed in defeat so that He and all His blood-bought people might never be defeated again!
God raised Him up from grave, victorious over sin, death, and Satan for all time so that by faith in Him you might win the victory too!
He ran to obtain the prize!
He exercised self-control in all things like no other!
He did not run to receive a perishable wreath, but an imperishable one, and He did receive it so that we might go and do likewise!
Therefore, let us also lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely!
Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us by looking to Jesus, the Founder and Perfecter of our faith!
For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God!
Consider Him who endured from sinners such hostility against Himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted!

"That's My King!" Who's The Irresistible Lion Tamer And The Universe's Reclaimer!

He's the Seed of the woman Who came to crush the head of the serpent!
His servant Job took the worst tragedies Satan could throw at him and still bowed down and worshiped God!
He's the greater Sampson Who can not only tear lions apart with His bare hands, but He more than conquers them and takes everything they mean for evil and means it for good!
He was there when all the mouths of the lions were shut tight for Daniel in the lion's den, and He's still shutting the mouths of lions today!
He the Binder of the unbindable and the Subduer of the unsubduable!
When He began His ministry on earth, He boldly displayed His eternal worth!

One little Word of His Gospel can tame your lovelessness and from all your pride be loosed!
He tamed our greatest enemies – sin, death, Satan, and Hell – by allowing Himself to be devoured by them on that cross so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life as well so that we might go and tell and save other souls from eternal Hell!

That's my King!

He became naked on that cross so that we might be forever clothed and in our right minds!
He was left all alone and isolated on that cross so that we might enjoy eternal, ecstatic fellowship with all kinds!
He was cut up with stripes, thorns, nails, and a spear so that we might be forever healed!
He was tempted by legions of demons and conquered them all so that we might in everlasting peace be sealed!
He was accused of being a fad, bad, and mad but died and rose so that we could have God as our everlasting Dad!
He cried out into the tombs from that cross:  "My God! My God! Why have You forsaken Me?!" so that we could be forgiven, accepted, adopted, and never forgotten!
He rose up from the grave to give life to all who turn and trust in Him!

That's my King!  Have you put your trust in Him today?!

Through His life, death, and resurrection He's reconciling everything in the universe to Himself!
One day He'll make all things new including you if your faith is true!
If you see that you're like the naked, mad man who cut himself and cried,
And hate your sin, turn from it, and go to God to hide though you might be tried,
Then you'll run to Jesus and beg Him to let you forever abide right by His side!
Because He's irresistible!
He's alluring!
He's magnetic!
He's ravishing!
He's inescapable!
He's compelling!
He's all satisfying!
And if you've truly met Him, trusted Him, and been changed by Him, then you can't help but desire to be with Him and tell the world what great things He's done for You!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who Alone Fearfully And Wonderfully Rules Over Mother Nature!

He's the ultimate storm chaser and the ultimate storm crusher all at the same time!
He brought mother nature into this world, and He can take her out!
She always obeys His every command instantly, happily, and without talking back!
She shuts up, puts up, and hushes up at His every direction or correction!
He can tell all the 343 quintillion gallons of water in the oceans of this world to do exactly what He wants, when He wants, and how He wants!
The wind and the seas obey Him!
No destructive, demolishing tornado is outside of His control!
Every hurricane twists just as He pleases, when He pleases, where He pleases, and for as long as He pleases!
Every Tsunami must get His permission to form, grow, and strike land just as He sees fit!
Earthquakes can't break, quake, awake, or take unless He allows the earth to shake, and it's all for His own name's sake!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

He revealed His glorious rule over nature to His disciples in that little boat on the Sea of Galilee!
He made the water that floats the boat!
He created the trees for the wood that was used to make the boat!
He made the water that formed the storm clouds!
He made the air that caused the storm to blow in over the sea!
He controlled the high and low pressures that made the wind that caused the waves like sea billows to role!
He was at peace in the boat because He rules the world, even when He's fast asleep on the cushion unfurled!
Boats don't sink, crash, or collide unless He decides, and that may happen as He guides just to break your pride!
He stood up and cried:  “Peace!  Be still!” and proved that mother nature truly has no free will!
He made the sea as calm as glass and made the wind die down at last!
He turned the great storm into a great calm, and this God alone can do according to the Psalm!
Only God rules the raging sea and so Jesus' identity is key!
He's God in the boat, and He's the only reason they're still afloat!

That's my King!

God in the boat is a frightening thing, especially if He's not your King!
My King hates sin, and if you don't know Him, you'll wish your life on earth had never been!
But there's hope for you if you see your sin!
My King in the boat Who calmed the storm, He allowed Himself to be consumed by a storm of another form!
On the cross the storm of God's wrath swallowed Him whole, so that by grace through faith He can save your soul!
But God raised Him from the dead just as He always said!
So that the greatest fears of life you no longer have to dread!
His death caused an earthquake that shook the earth!
His resurrection brought the wind of the Spirit Who gives new birth!
Lightning and hail, snow and clouds, and stormy winds all carry out His perfect, sovereign will!
Take refuge in Him and all your greatest hopes and dreams, desires and longings He'll fulfill!
One day soon He'll return to calm all storms so that Christ we might adore!
And find in Him fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Mustard Seed Of Mustard Seeds Out Growing All The Plants Of The Earth!

He started out small, but He ended up larger than life!
You can't out grow Him, and you can't grow without Him!

The sidewalk of your stubborn heart can't stop Him from growing up and bearing fruit!
There's no weed killer that can make His unconquerable branches wither and die!
You can't stop His growth, stunt His growth, or cement over His growth because He's sown, supported, strengthened, and satisfied by the Supreme Sovereign Savior of the world!
He doesn't need soil!
He doesn't need fertilizer!
He doesn't need water!
And He doesn't need the sun because He's a light all to Himself!
He was smaller than small, but now He's bigger than big!
He's bigger than the biggest reality you could ever imagine and then some!

That's my King!  I wonder if He's the biggest treasure in your heart today?!

His beginnings were small and secluded, little and limited, but don't despise the day of small things!
He was born of a virgin accused of immorality, but don't despise the day of small things!
His parents were young, inexperienced, poor, and unheard of, but don't despise the day of small things!
He was born and laid in the feeding trough of unclean animals, but don't despise the day of small things!
He was born as a little baby, in a little country, to a little family, in a little empire, on a little planet, in a little solar system, in a little galaxy, in a little universe compared to the utter bigness of what He always has been and what He always will be!  Don't despise the day of small things!
He lived an obscure, unknown life for thirty years and publicly taught for only three years, but don't despise the day of small things!
He had no form or majesty that we should look at Him, and no beauty that we should desire Him, but don't despise the day of small things!
While ministering with His disciples He had no place to lay His head, but don't despise the day of small things!
He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, but don't despise the day of small things!
His disciples never seemed to understand what He was teaching, but don't despise the day of small things!
He came into Jerusalem, humble and riding on a donkey, but don't despise the day of small things!
His disciples all forsook Him in His greatest time of need, but don't despise the day of small things!
He was falsely accused, spit upon, beaten, ridiculed, stripped down naked and hung on a cross to die the worst death in the history of this world, but don't despise the day of small things!
On that cross He satisfied the wrath of God in His own body on the tree, and as the Lamb of God He took away the sin of the world!  So don't despise the day of small things!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

He didn't stay dead and that's where all His smallness began to get real big!
He rose up from the dead and conquered all the biggest enemies of God and the human race forever!
His bigness conquered Satan in stunning superiority!
His bigness triumphed over sin by opening a cleansing fountain filled with blood!
His bigness won the victory over death so that we may live forever and live to die no more!
Now He's bigger than life, more precious than life, the only One Who can give life, and the only One Who makes life worth living!
The book written all about Him, the Bible, is the best-selling book of all time!
His few, cowardly, denying, slow-to-understand disciples have grown in numbers to compose one of the largest religions on the planet!
His disciples continue to grow and increase with people from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation as they repent and believe in Him and learn to obey all He's commanded!
His Kingdom can't be stopped, it won't be stopped, and the more people try to stop it by all manner of opposition, violence, and death the more it will grow and grow back stronger!
It will continue to grow until all of God's and our enemies are placed under His feet, all His chosen, blood-bought people are saved, and He returns to create a new heavens and a new earth where holiness, righteousness, beauty, glory, and goodness will flourish forever and ever!
For all His followers He must be, will be, and cannot help but be their biggest joy, treasure, and pleasure, and their greatest hope, love, and delight in all the universe!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Lion And The Lamb All At The Same Time!

He's the Lion of the tribe of Judah Who roars and all the rulers of the world hush silent!
And at the same time He's the Lamb slain for the sins of the whole world!
There is in Him an admirable conjunction of diverse excellencies like no other being this world has ever seen!
He excels in strength and majesty, and also in meekness and patience!
In Him do meet together infinite highness and infinite condescension!
He's God Himself!
He's infinitely great and high above all!
He's higher than all the kings of the earth!
He's higher than the heavens, and higher than the highest angels of heaven!
He's so great that all men, kings, potentates, princes,and presidents are as worms of the dust before Him!
Before Him all nations are as drops in a bucket!
The angels themselves are as nothing before Him!
He's so high that He's infinitely above any need of His creatures!
He's the Creator and great Possessor of heaven and earth!
He's sovereign Lord of all!
He rules over the whole universe and does whatever He pleases!
His knowledge is without bound!
His wisdom is perfect!
His power is infinite and none can resist Him!
His riches are immense and inexhaustible!
His majesty is infinitely amazing!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

And yet He's One of infinite condescension!
He takes notice of the lowest of the low and cares for them with the most tender love!
He condescends to help the poorest creatures of this universe!
He loves the despised!
He accepts the rejected!
He takes notice of beggars!
He cares for the little children that no one else wants to touch!
He condescends to take gracious, merciful notice of the most unworthy, sinful creatures who deserve nothing good but only deserve suffering and hell!
He condescends to become the friend of sinners!
He becomes the companion of the wicked and unites His soul to the ungodly in spiritual marriage!
He became like one of us so that He could become one with us!
He exposed Himself to shame and spitting!
He endured the most horrific death that has ever crossed the horizon of this world!
He humbled Himself like no other has ever humbled himself in the history of this world!
And He did all this for sinners like you and me - the low, the despicable, the unworthy!

That's my King!

In Him do meet together infinite justice and infinite grace!
He's infinitely holy and just!
He hates sin like no other!
He'll execute punishment for all sin!
He's the Judge of all the world!
He's the infinitely just Judge over all!
He won't at all acquit the wicked or by any means clear the guilty!
Yet He's infinitely gracious and merciful at the same time!
His justice is so strict with respect to all sin, and every breach of the law!
Yet He has grace sufficient for every sinner - even the chief of sinners!
He can bestow the greatest good upon the greatest of sinners!
He does good to sinners!
He works all things for good on behalf of sinners!
He suffered for sinners!
He suffered the most extreme death for sinners!
He suffered the infinite wrath of God on the cross so that sinners might be saved!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

In Him do meet together infinite glory and lowest humility!
Infinite glory, and the virtue of humility, meet in no other person but Christ!
He's both fully God and fully man!
He must be honored just as the Father is honored!
He must be worshiped, adored, and bowed down to!
Yet He's the lowest of all in humility at the same time!
He's the humblest of the humble!
He was perfectly content with His lowly outward circumstances!
He lived in poverty, born into a poor family, born in the feeding trough of a cow!
He washed His disciples' feet!
He took the form of a servant!
He humbled Himself to the point of death, even death on that cross!

That's my King!

In Him do meet together infinite majesty and transcendent meekness!
These meet together in no other person but Christ!
Being both God and man, He possesses infinite majesty and superlative meekness!
He's mighty, riding on the heavens and His excellency on the sky!
He's awesome out of His holy places!
He's mightier than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty waves of the sea: before whom a fire goes, and burns up His enemies round about!
At His presence the earth quakes, and the hills melt!
He sits on the circle of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the earth are as grasshoppers!
He rebukes the sea and makes it dry and dries up the rivers!
His eyes are as a flame of fire!
From His presence and from the glory of His power the wicked shall be punished with everlasting destruction!
He's the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords!
He has heaven for His throne and the earth for His footstool!
He's the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity!
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and of His dominion there is no end!
And yet He was also the most marvelous instance of meekness and humble quietness of spirit that ever was or ever will be!
He's the King that came, meek, and sitting on a donkey!
He's meek and lowly in heart!
There never was such an example of meek behavior seen on earth in the face of all manner of torments, reproaches, and evils!
He loved His enemies!
When He was reviled He reviled not in return!
He had the most wonderful spirit of forgiveness!
He prayed for His enemies with fervent, effectual prayers!
Against His mocking enemies He opened not His mouth but went as a lamb to the slaughter!
He's the Lion in majesty and the Lamb in meekness!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

In Him do meet together the deepest reverence toward God and equality with God!
He always appeared full of holy reverence toward the Father!
He paid the most reverential worship to Him, praying to Him with postures of reverence!
His person was in all respects equal to the person of the Father!
God the Father has no attribute or perfection that the Son has not, in equal degree, and equal in glory!
These things do meet in no other person but Jesus Christ!
There are conjoined in Him infinite worthiness of good, and the greatest patience under sufferings of evil!
He was perfectly innocent and deserved no suffering!
He deserved nothing from God by any guilt of His own, and He deserved no bad from any man!
He was not only harmless and undeserving of suffering, but He was infinitely worthy - worthy of the infinite love of the Father, worthy of infinite and eternal happiness, and infinitely worthy of all possible esteem, love, and service from all men!
And yet He was perfectly patient under the greatest sufferings that ever were endured in this world!
He endured the cross, despising the shame!
He suffered not from His Father for His faults, but for our faults!
He suffered from men not for His faults but for those things on account of which He was infinitely worthy of their love and honor, which made His patience the more wonderful and the more glorious!
He did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth:  Who when He was reviled, reviled not in return, when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judges righteously:  Who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we being dead to sin, should live unto righteousness:  by whose stripes you have been healed!
There is no such conjunction of innocence, worthiness, and patience under sufferings, as in the person of Christ!

That's my King!

In Him are conjoined an exceeding spirit of obedience with supreme dominion over heaven and earth!
Christ is the Lord of all things in two respects:  He is God-man and Mediator!
His dominion is appointed and given Him of the Father!
But He's Lord of all things in another respect, namely, as He is God; and so He is by natural right the Lord of all and supreme over all as much as the Father!
He has dominion over the world, not by delegation, but in His own right!
He's not under God but to all intents and purposes supreme God!
And yet in the same Person is found the greatest spirit of obedience to the commands and laws of God that ever was in the universe!
As the Father gave Him commandment, even so He did!
He kept His Father's commandments and dwelt in His love!
Never has anyone received commands from God of such difficulty, and that were so great a trial of obedience, as Jesus Christ!
And He was thoroughly obedient in all of these commands of God!
Never was there such an instance of obedience in man or angel as this, though He was at the same time supreme Lord of both angels and men!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

In Him are conjoined absolute sovereignty and perfect submission!
This is another unparalleled conjunction!
Christ, as He is God, is the absolute sovereign of the world, the sovereign disposer of all events! The decrees of God are all His sovereign decrees!
The work of creation and all God's works of providence are His sovereign works!
It's He Who works all things according to the counsel of His own will!
By Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things!
But yet Christ was the most wonderful instance of submission that has ever appeared in the world!
He was absolutely and perfectly submissive when He had a near and immediate prospect of His terrible sufferings and the dreadful cup that He was to drink!
The idea and expectation of this made His soul exceeding sorrowful even unto death and put Him into such an agony that His sweat was as it were great drops or clots of blood, falling down to the ground!
But in such circumstances He was wholly submissive to the will of God!
In Him do meet together self-sufficiency and an entire trust and reliance on God!
He's the divine person, self-sufficient and standing in need of nothing!
All creatures are dependent on Him!
He's dependent on none, but is absolutely independent!
His proceeding from the Father, in His eternal generation, argues no proper dependence on the will of the Father; for that proceeding was natural and necessary!
But yet He entirely trusted in God!

"That's My King!" Whose Kingdom Will Triumph All By Itself Even When You're Asleep!

He's the God Who does some of His greatest works in the universe while men are asleep!

He created Adam's bride while he was asleep, and she, like all faithful brides, points to the most beautiful, multiethnic, blood bought bride of Christ!

While Abram was asleep, God made a covenant with him, and promised to slaughter Himself if the covenant should not come to pass.  

And He did slaughter Himself on that cross where all of the covenant curses Israel and we deserve fell upon Him!

While Jacob was asleep, God confirmed His covenant promises to him and showed him a ladder going up to heaven!

My King Jesus is the ladder to heaven – He's the only way we can ever enter paradise – the way, the truth, and the life!

When He revealed His glory on the mount of transfiguration, Peter and the others where falling asleep – but boy did they wake up when Jesus' brightness shown like the sun!

In one of His greatest times of distress and need in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus' own disciples fell asleep while He wrestled with His Father in prayer over the greatest event that has ever occurred in the history of this world!

While Peter was sleeping, the Lord God broke Him out of jail so that he could continue preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified to the whole wide world!

That's my King!  I wonder if you're awake enough to know Him today?!

He always keeps His people and will never sleep nor slumber!

When He slept as a baby in the manger He still upheld the universe by the Word of His power!

He slept in the boat during the great storm because He's always got everything all under control!

He gives sleep to His beloved because He can handle all their fears, cares, and worries all by Himself!

Unless He's working in whatever you're doing, you're doing it in vain, you're awake in vain, you're sleeping in vain, and all of life is vanity, vanity says the Preacher!

He arises and awakens justice for His people, and since He is for us, no one can successfully be against us!

Because of His life, death, and resurrection when He returns for us we'll awake from the dead, behold His face in righteousness, and be eternally satisfied with His likeness!

He can accomplish everything in the universe that should, would, or could happen for good while you're in your bed terrified about what's happening in the hood!

He's the greatest lover of all lovers, Who excites you so much that sometimes you can't sleep at night, and even if you do sleep, your heart stays awake meditating on His love and glorious beauty that's out of sight!

He moves your heart to spontaneously awake and sing for joy!

That's my King!

He made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, and He does not live in temples made by man, nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything!

He can accomplish all His magnificent purposes in this universe all by Himself!

He's totally self-sufficient, self-sustaining, self-reigning, and God all by Himself!

He's absolute!

He's independent!

He's self-determining!

He's self-governing! 

He's self-reliant! 

He's self-ruling!

He's self-supporting!

He's sovereign!

He's unaided!

He's got no needs!

He's unconstrained!

He's uncontrollable! 

He doesn't need us!

But He loves us and chooses to use us to accomplish His perfect plan for this world!

God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through Him Who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with Him!

He constantly stirs up and awakens more love in us for both Himself and others because this always pleases Him!

That's my King!  That's my King!

Jesus Christ Is Everything!

Charles Spurgeon said:

. . . to a poor hungry sinner, Jesus Christ is everything. 

He is a home for his [homelessness];

[clothes] for his nakedness;

food for his hunger;

light for his darkness;

liberty for his bondage;

joy for his despair.

He is his Heaven upon earth and his Heaven in Heaven!  

Dear Friends, this is the way to hear the Gospel – with a great craving hunger of soul, for as much as you really want, that you shall have. If you bring a great measure of need to the sanctuary, the Truth of God shall be measured out to you so as to fill it!  Your utmost desires shall be exceeded, for God is able to do for us exceeding abundantly above what we ask or even think!

"That's My King!" Who's The Brightest Light That Shines Like No Other!

He's the Light of lights, the Lamp of lamps, and the Shining Star of the ages!
He's the light that followed Israel in the pillar of fire by night during their sojourn in the wilderness!
When He was born a star hovered over Him, nations came to His light, and kings were attracted to the brightness of His rising!
He poured Himself out for the hungry and satisfied the desire of the afflicted so that His light rose in the darkness and the gloom of the world was made as the noonday!
When He was transfigured His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light!
His second coming will be like lightning flashing and will light up the sky from one side to the other!
At His second coming He'll bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart!
He's the radiance of the glory of God!
He's more radiant than the rarest, most resplendent of jewels – more than the finest of diamonds clear as crystal!
Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed!
His radiance causes the human heart to thrill and exult because His bright beauty is without comparison!
He's the beloved One Who looks down like the dawn, more beautiful than the moon, brighter than the sun, and more majestic than all the stars in procession!

That's my King!  I wonder if He's shined in your heart today?!

He's the bright light of heaven!
He's the bright and morning Star!
He's a light for revelation to the Gentiles!
He's the light that gives life to men!
He's the light that the darkness cannot overcome!
He's the undarkenable light!
He's the light of the world!
He's the true light that enlightens everyone!
In His face we see the light of the knowledge of the glory of God!
When His face shines on you, He saves you by His steadfast love and mercy!
Because He's the Light Who has come into the world we too can arise and shine because the glory of the LORD has risen upon us!

That's my King!

We who walked in darkness have seen Him as our great light!
We who dwelt in a land of deep darkness have had His light shine upon us!
He's the wisest of the wise, so He shines brighter than the brightness of the shining sky above!
He's the light of life, the light of glory, and the light of my salvation and my stronghold, of whom shall I be afraid?!
When we fall, we'll arise; when we sit in darkness, He'll be a light to us because He shed His own blood to cleanse us from our sins!
He's the tender mercy of our God!
He's the sunrise Who's visited us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace!
He's the Sun of righteousness Who rises with healing in it wings!
He came into the world as light, so that whoever believes in Him shall not remain in darkness!
He abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

He was overcome by darkness on that cross where He endured the wrath of God for the sins of all those who would ever repent and believe in Him!
His unquenchable light swallowed up, spit out, and servantified all darkness when He rose up from the grave!
Now He even works every darkness for good in the lives of all His children of the light!
If He shines on you, then you can awake and live and arise from the dead!
By faith and obedience to Him, we let our lights shine before others, so they might see our good works and give glory to our Father in heaven!
We are righteous in Him and walk righteously before Him so that we'll shine like the sun in the kingdom of our Father!
He's the everlasting Lamp and Light of the new heavens and the new earth!
And the everlasting Lamp and the Light of the new heavens and new earth is the LORD God!
Then and there He shall be your everlasting light and your days of sadness, sin, crying, and pain shall be banished forevermore!

That's my King!  That's my King!
