"That's My King!" Who's The Healer Of All, Reversed The Fall, And Conquers Every Sickness Big Or Small!

The people recognized Him when He got to the shore; He's the miracle worker they'd come to adore; For signs and wonders they'd beg for more; But His identity as God they seemed to ignore; Yet to be reconciled to God He's the only Door; At that cross His precious life-blood He'd pour; On His bloodied back your sins He bore, and then rose from the dead to win the war; All beauty and good to perfectly restore; And grant us fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore!
Jesus is the the center of attention; He's amazing and extraordinary in every dimension; Though He's eternal God, He made a lowly condescension to save sinners from Hell and every contention; His beauty and love are without comprehension, and after He made His glorious ascension, He calls us to go and His Gospel to mention; In all of our lives it demands utter submission and to every nation further extension for the fame of His name in every dimension!
Jesus is available to all who see their need; He's quick to accomplish every good deed; For every repentant sinner He came to bleed; And in them plant His everlasting seed so that they would believe His creed and follow His lead to be fully freed!
Jesus came showing mercy and love; He's gentle and tender, just like a dove; He's the God Who is love that's come down from above!
When Adam fell into sin the whole world was lost; But at great personal cost Jesus came to reverse the loss and do even more at the cross!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today!?

There's nothing on earth that Jesus can't heal; No matter what's wrong or how bad you feel, if to Him by faith you make your appeal, He'll always work His perfect will, and give you what's best – that's the ideal; So don't go to Him to make a deal, but pour out your heart and before Him be real, and His perfect plan for your life He'll reveal!
Because of sin we get sick and die, but when it comes to specifics we don't know why; Sometimes if you lie, you may get pinkeye; but others like Job don't sin or defy, yet sickness they get no matter how hard they try; So for righteousness aim high; On your own understanding don't rely; Trust in our God's endless supply of love that never runs dry and into His fatherly arms always fly; For His mercy never cease to cry, and He'll make all things beautiful in the great by and by!
We long for a day of no more sickness, death, and pain; When the curse will be gone and nothing will be vain; To win this new day Jesus came to be slain; He had to suffer and die and be counted profane; Then rise from the grave, paradise to regain; He started everything we'll finally attain, but there's more to come so don't complain; The "already – not yet" theologians try to explain; When Jesus comes back there'll be a whole new domain where a new earth and new bodies this world will contain; Then all sin and death will have no more reign, again the world will be sane, over all the earth God's glory will forever remain because Jesus Christ is worthy to obtain!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The I AM HE Who Passed By On The Sea, Makes Fears Flee, And Sets Hearts Free!

He's the sea walker, fear blocker, wind rocker, and disciple shocker!
He went up on the mountain to pray; His Father always showed Him the way so He wouldn't go astray but be faithful in all He'd do and say; His disciples He'd soon dismay as He put on display His beauty and power in  glorious array which reached its climax when on that cross they'd slay, but He'd forever take away all fear and every kind of decay, and all His children with good repay, for He rose up from the grave on the third day!
The wind pushed the disciples back; The sea and sky were black, and they seemed to be off track; strength to move forward they'd lack, but then they saw something that 'bout made them crack – God on the sea right now we'll unpack!
Job said it's God Who treads upon the wave, but that's how we see Jesus behave; Now He Himself is all the rave, for God so loved the world He gave that He might save sinners who misbehave, make them His slave, and grant them Him alone to crave!
They saw Him walking on the sea, showing His identity is key; He is the I AM HE Who alone can set you free from needing any he or she because He Himself your all must be!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

After He satisfied them all with bread and sent the disciples on ahead, upon the waters Jesus tread and filled the disciples all with dread; But then He turned His head and with conviction said “I AM!” And that's what God to Moses said!  So let all your dread be dead and never spread but put your trust in Him instead, for you know He bled and rose from the dead to be the Church's perfect Head!
Many question His passing by; They wonder and ask why; But if you have an Old Testament eye; "This is amazing!" you might reply, for it shows us Jesus is God Most High, since it's God Himself Who passes by and God in the flesh has now drawn nigh, so at these truths don't sigh, but drink deeply from His infinite supply and to Him for mercy cry!
The great I AM gets in the boat; By His Word the world's afloat; To show His identity Mark wrote; He doesn't need your support or vote; To Him alone all allegiance we must devote!
If you trust Him then don't be afraid; He'll be your unshakable aid and life giving shade; Your heart He'll invade just as you prayed; You won't be swayed even at the threat of a blade because to you unspeakable love He's displayed; With His life He paid on that cross we've surveyed in the tomb He was laid, but death He'd evade and with glory is forever arrayed!
So don't harden your heart; You don't have to be smart; Just believe in your heart, and He'll set you apart; No matter what you've done, you'll get a fresh start, and He'll recreate your life like precious fine art!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Prophet, Good Shepherd, And Provider Whose Strong Arms Of Mercy Can't Be Opened Wider!

Jesus had compassion on the crowed
Though they were proud
And without a leader poorly endowed
He taught them truth out loud
While they sat under the cloud
Until their stomachs growled
And with His power to provide He wowed the crowed
And gave them more food than their appetites allowed
He's God come down, and they should have bowed
And to Him alone all allegiance avowed!

That's my King!

People came to Him from every place
Though He had no desirable face
He and His disciples couldn't hide from the chase
Or slow down their pace
And they had no personal space
But He kept showing love and grace
That would eventually spread to every race!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

He's the Prophet like Moses Who was to come
Though they didn't know where He came from
He was spit upon, killed, and treated like scum
But He rose from the grave, lifting up from the slum
Of all beauty and good He's the infinite sum!

That's my King!

He's the Good Shepherd Who had to die
"Is there another way?!" was His holy cry
Forsaken on the cross He asked His Father why
He obeyed the Divine will and did comply
Without a sigh He glorified the Most High
And kept His eye fixed on the joy to come by and by
To win for us mercies of endless supply
If on Him alone we'll only rely
So what's your reply
To His arms may you forever fly!

That's my King!

He's the Bread of Life
Who died for His wife
In order to finally end all strife!

That's my King!

He's the Bread that was broken
An incomparable token
God's final Word spoken
From the dead He's awoken
To save His chosen
Restore their emotion
And win their devotion
As He makes a way open
To enjoy His bottomless love-mercy ocean!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!

He's the Bread Who came down
To wipe away the Father's frown
He won the crown for His Father's renown
He's the most precious noun
Of any town around
In His glory and beauty we can drown
When sin increases His grace will abound
He's the Master of the lost and found
He's like the heavenly hound
He'll chase you down
He died but rose up from the ground
So His mercy would surround
His enemies confound,
And His people forever astound
With His glory unspeakably profound!

That's my King!

All your needs He will provide
Since He died to make you His bride
He'll kill your pride and be your guide
He's forever and always on your side
So put all sin aside and in Him abide
Even though your tempted and tried
His arms are open wide
So run to Him and in His mercy hide
And spread His Gospel worldwide
So you can praise His name in heaven with all nations side by side!

That's my King!

He satisfies the desire of every living thing
Of all pleasure and joy He's the everlasting spring
He can't help but make you sing
Because of all the delight He'll bring
So turn from every other empty fling
And flee to Him and cling
Because He's the only all satisfying King!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Everlasting Rest Who Past The Test So We Could Be Forever Blessed!

He created the world in the very beginning; His work was good, and He was grinning; But then man rebelled and since then we've all been sinning; So God became man and against all enemies began winning; To clean up the mess until there's perfect rest in the final inning!
He made everything from nothing; Then He rested without rushing; He's the Creator Who's so loving that we long for His second coming!
Jesus worked hard, and calls us to follow; If not, our profession of faith seems quite hollow!
His grace empowers us to work hard which He purchased through His body marred, His hands scarred, and His fellowship with the Father barred on that cross where He was treated with all disregard!
Then up from the grave He arose; With a mighty triumph o'er all His foes; He didn't in the least bit decompose, and all they found was His grave clothes; And now everywhere He goes He shows salvation to all He knows who don't oppose but find in Him everlasting repose!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

He commanded His disciples to rest awhile after preaching all men must repent and reconcile!
Because He's in control, we can rest and sleep; He keeps us as His precious sheep; Our redemption price wasn't cheap; It caused Him to cry, pray, wail, and weep; But because His sacrifice was eternally deep, we can be sure our lives He'll forever keep!
The first Adam failed the test and was restricted from the Sabbath rest; Sin he failed to detest, the truth He suppressed and was with himself too impressed so that he caused universal distress and unrest; But Jesus came on a dominating conquest; With His Father's will He was obsessed in order to free the oppressed so that we could be blessed by the best from the east to the west!
Israel failed to stay in the promised land; They didn't obey God's every command even though He brought them out of Egypt with a mighty hand; But Jesus, the True Israel, met God's every demand; Him the devil couldn't withstand; He died on the cross just as God planned, and up from the grave He rose to stand so that the children of Abraham would be as numerous as the stars and the sand!
He's the Everlasting Rest worthy to take the scroll; Both the Lion and the Lamb Who fulfilled God's goal; For He was slain on that cross and took control to make all peoples one on the church roll; So find rest in Jesus, and He'll make you whole; turn from your sin and trust Him to save your soul!
He's the only rest that truly gives delight; All others compared are shallow and light and after awhile they all take flight; But the joy He gives satisfies to an infinite height, and He's the only one with an everlasting bite; So be contrite and for this rest fight to enter into His everlasting bright where there's no more tears or night but only holy delight!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Whose Name Demands Fame Which We Must Die To Proclaim!

He so lived and so spoke that His name became known
Since then His fame has continually grown
For He must be honored just as His Father on the throne
He humbled Himself to the point of death all alone
He absorbed God's wrath for sin to atone
Yet He's alive forevermore, from the grave He's flown
All over the world His Gospel will be sown
Calling sinners to Himself and making them His very own!

That's my King!

He's the God-man with incomparable fame
He came to heal the lame and all those afflicted with shame
He's the Lion of God Who's good but not tame
His followers must aim to proclaim
The wonderful excellencies of His great, matchless name!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

Holiness and righteousness are His demand
Life with Him is not bland but abundantly grand
His love and beauty you can't withstand
Your life couldn't be better planned
So reach out by faith and take His hand
Fight for holiness and take your stand
Striving to obey His every command
So that one day you'll enter the promised land!

That's my King!

About Him we must speak
He's utterly unique
Don't worry about your technique
Or your voice mild and weak
But only seek with a heart that's meek
To tell of a future so bleak
Without the glorious salvation He purchased during holy week!

That's my King!

When Jesus calls you, He calls you to death
But in the process He'll take away your breath
And ultimately give you a high better than meth!

Some like John will die as a martyr
Life on earth couldn't be harder . . .

But God's truth over life they do prefer
Threats of suffering and death will not deter
For Christ's love in their hearts will captivate and stir
A great reward God will eternally confer!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!

Others will die smaller deaths day by day
Death to self and to all the “good things” He seems to delay
The idols of the heart we're called to slay
Christ must be first, it's the only way
So your number one lover don't betray
But cry “Christ is all!” and His worth display!

That's my King!

Don't sigh and ask Him why
Just plead and cry for Him to help you die
And fix your eye on His everlasting supply
Full of love, joy, and mercy that'll never run dry
Him you'll never deny, but to His everlasting arms you'll fly
And with His infinite beauty He'll forever satisfy!

That's my King!

What you so long for is only a whore
It's stealing your love and only wants more
It you must abhor and deplore
Against it make war I implore
So that you might be set free to soar
Up from the floor and fly to explore
The King's great beauty galore
Where there's fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore!

That's my King!

Your Life For Christ Might Leave You Dead
Because Of All He Did And Said
John The Baptist Came And Pled
Behold! The Lamb Of God You’ll Wed
He Takes Away Our Sin We’ve Read
The Bridegroom Saves From Hell And Dread
John Died For Christ And Lost His Head
For Christ Is Worth This Grim Bloodshed
Now He’s The Famous One Widespread
Who Took God’s Wrath And Died And Bled
Then Rose Alive To Death Behead
By Faith Alone He Saves The Dead
To Greatest Victory Jesus Led
In Him The Dead Will Live Instead
To Praise Our King His Fame We Spread!

That's my King! That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Reproducing Rabbi With All Authority On High Who Gives An Endless Supply!

He's the great God of the irresistible call; We just saw Him still the wind squall and stop the demon brawl; If He calls you He'll never let you fall; But fill you with delight as your satisfying all in all!
There's no one like Him, that's for sure; His grace and beauty will allure; From sin and wrath He's the double cure; He died and rose to make you pure; your everlasting life to make secure!
If you're His disciple, to the lost you'll be sent just like these twelve trusted Him and went; Your great King you'll represent to accomplish His merciful intent; His heart from wrath longs to relent; His first desire is not to torment or cause lament, but He pleads with everyone everywhere to repent so that He might present His infinite love and mercy to the world without extent!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

He possesses all authority in heaven and on earth; Therefore we should spread His Gospel from Philadelphia to Perth so that others might experience the miraculous new birth and enjoy everlasting mirth as they treasure Christ's amazing, incomparable worth!
If you reject Him, there's only a curse; Your everlasting destruction in hell couldn't be worse; Your dead and already in a hearse; But turn from your sin and trust in Him; Your eternal destiny He'll reverse; With love, joy, and mercy He'll immerse; And all your losses in this life He'll forever reimburse!
If you have Him, He's all you need; From all greed you'll be freed; So simply proceed to plant His seed just as He decreed; He'll supply your every need for every good deed; So go with the Gospel and plead, knowing everyone won't be agreed and for some you may even bleed just like your Savior when He was treed; But know this for certain, the Gospel will succeed and save everyone for whom Christ died indeed!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Teacher, Offender, And Human Soul Mender!

He's the truth defender Who calls for surrender; The disciple maker and sender; The all races blender; The forever evil suspender; The teacher Who's tender and gloriously arrayed in unimaginable splendor!
His true disciples must trust and follow Him; Otherwise their claims to love Him are just a whim; And their future's only dim and grim; So don't just sing a hymn; But delight in Him to find joy filled to the brim; And in Him, your ocean of pleasure, you can forever swim!
In Nazareth He met rejection; They showed Him no affection; To His person and work they gave objection; This made clear their sinful infection; Because He's the ultimate display of all perfection; And He forever proved this through His death and resurrection; Giving glory to His Father of Whom He's the exact reflection; And forever cleansing His people from all imperfection!
He's the teacher of teachers Who's also the Prince of preachers; He powerfully rules over every creature, and by an infinite distance He's the universe's most beautiful feature!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

When they heard Him they were dazed and amazed; But their hearts were left unfazed when they should have bowed down and praised this God-man Who would soon die and be raised!
His hometown He offended when instead they should have comprehended His divine character and beauty truly splendid; On that cross He was expended and His life was ended but then forever extended just as His Father always intended!
He's the greatest Prophet without honor; Yet there's no one fonder; He's the only one to conquer; All for the glory of His Father!
Faith in Him they truly lacked; though reasons to trust Him couldn't be more packed, stacked, or better backed; But still He'd interact until finally they attacked but through His death He had the greatest impact!
So won't you trust Him now; To delight in Him He'll show you how; To be His co-heir He'll allow; To you the whole world He'll endow; He'll mend your soul and with joy lift your brow; To Him alone you'll bow and enjoy in His presence the everlasting wow!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's Worthy To Follow In Every Matter, Not To Flatter, But All Sin To Shatter!

True disciples will follow the Master; They hate their sin which brings only disaster; They flee to Christ all the faster; Bringing joy and delight to their fearful pastor!
Jesus is worthy to obey, whatever the cost; Compared to Him all is counted as lost; If by trials and fears you're tossed; His mercy and love you'll never exhaust!
Every single sin will keep you from heaven; Not just the bigs ones or the deadly seven; All of them spread like gangrene leaven; Your ability to hear from God they deafen!
But Jesus came to die for all kinds of sin; All the sin that has been and all the sin that's within; Even the sin you can't mention to your kin!
In His name and by His Spirit we gain justification and sanctification to save us from all condemnation and damnation because with God He's given us a new relation in which we'll fall before Him in prostration and elation to give Him all adoration for this great salvation!
He's gracious and merciful, even when we fail; With compassion and tenderness He'll care for the frail; Compared to all others their kindness is pale; For on that cross He brought us to God and lifted the veil!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

So follow the true God, all others are sad; they're a short lived fad only leading to bad; If you trust them you'll wish you never had; But trust in Jesus alone, and He'll make you glad!
God ordained the Church to help us follow Him alone; He rules her from heaven seated on His throne; Unrepentant sin she must never condone; And if they don't turn she must even disown!
But this is done in hope and love to restore; Even though it's a chore and your insides tore; The goal of it all is to open a door; To welcome the sinner back to praise and adore; The God of heaven with Whom they once were at war!
For God's glory we do this when one's gone amiss; We again long for justice and mercy to kiss; We must dismiss or we would be remiss; But the end goal is the offender's eternal bliss!
We do this because Jesus is just that great; His glory shines forth with unbearable weight; He wants His Church within the straight gate; To be holy and pure more than any gold plate in order that His beauty to the world might translate!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who Lost Everything So That You Might Gain Everything!

The everlasting peace He enjoyed was turned into hostility and pain as He suffered the wrath of His Father on that cross so that you might be justified and have peace with God!
He endured the condemnation you deserved so that now you are free from condemnation forever!
He was crushed on that cross for all your sins – past, present, and future – so that now where your sin abounds, grace abounds for you all the more!
He contains in Himself all the treasures of wisdom, knowledge, and perfect righteousness so that by faith in Him you can receive Him as your wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption!
He was made your sin and crushed on the cross so that now you are made righteous in Him!
He's the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Lamb Who was slain so that now you are righteous and can be as bold as a lion!
Your sins were brought near Him, counted as His, and He suffered for them so that now they are removed from you as far as the east is from the west!
He met your sins and their punishment head on at the cross so that now they have all been cast behind the LORD's back!
The Father remembered your sins in Jesus on the cross so that now they have been blotted out for His own sake, and He will remember them no more!
He Who's whiter than the purest light was made filthy with your sins so that now, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow!
He conquered every temptation He ever faced, never sinned once in the smallest way, and was obedient all the way unto death on the cross so that now, by grace through faith, you died with Him and died to the power of sin's rule over your life!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?

He was wounded for your transgressions; bruised for your iniquities; and the chastisement for your peace was upon Him!
He was made an enemy of God and utterly vanquished on that cross so that now your enemies should not rejoice over you.  For when you fall, you shall arise; when you sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light to you.  You shall bear the indignation of the LORD because you have sinned against Him, until He pleads your case and executes justice for you.  He will bring you forth to the light; You will see His righteousness!
God did not merely pardon your sins or pass over your transgressions.  Instead, He chose not to restrain His anger or have mercy on His own Son, but He delighted to crush Jesus on the cross in your place.  Therefore, your God is unlike any other, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage.  He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.  He will again have compassion on you, and will subdue your iniquities.  He will cast all your sins into the depths of the sea.  Micah 7:18-19
On the cross where His Son hung, the Father showed no grace or mercy; displayed the full measure of His anger; exhibited no lovingkindness; and did not relent from doing harm to His own Son so that now He might be gracious and merciful to you; slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness; One who relents from doing harm against you because Jesus paid it all, taking all the harm upon Himself!
He Who alone earned the right to have the highest honor in the Father's eyes was abandoned on that cross so that now you might be kept as the apple of God's eye!
He died in the place of the wicked Barabbas and in the place of all those wicked ones His Father had given Him so that now the Father might have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn and live!
On that cross, Jesus was cast out and forsaken by the Father so that now, if you come to Him, He will by no means cast you out!

That's my King!

On that cross, Jesus perished in your place so that now if you believe in Him, you will not perish, but have everlasting life!
He faced the fierceness of God's infinite wrath on the cross so that now you have been saved from this everlasting wrath in hell where the fire is unquenchable and where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!
He has the greatest mind in the universe – no one can instruct Him!  His mind is the most wise, the most knowledgeable, the most keen, and the most humble, and in Him, you have the very mind of Christ!
He's the temple Who was torn down and rebuilt in three days!
He's the most beautiful, the most glorious, the most precious temple of the LORD, and by grace through faith, you are united to Him – You are the temple of the Holy Spirit; you were bought with a price; and you are not your own for He purchased you with His own blood!
He was established in strength like no other, and He had the Holy Spirit upon Him in power and without measure.  And you have been established in Christ, sealed, and you have been given the Holy Spirit in your heart as a guarantee of your inheritance!
He was crucified and died, but He rose again in power and glory to newness of  life, conquering sin, death, and Satan.  And you have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer you who live, but Christ lives in you!
He embodied and lived out every spiritual blessing imaginable, and you have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ!
He's the holiest of the holy and the most blameless of the blameless.  And you have been chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without blame before Him in love!
He's the preeminent Son of God, and you have been predestined to adoption as sons of God!

That's my King!

Though He died on the cross, He's alive now!  You too have been made alive together with Christ!
He came down from the heavenly places to be mocked, mistreated, beaten, and killed because of your sin so that now you have been made to sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus!
His access to the Father was cut off on the cross so that now you have access by one Spirit to the Father!
You have boldness and access to God with confidence through faith in Him!
Darkness overcame Him on the cross so that now we have been delivered from the power of darkness and conveyed into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins!
He suffered for you so that now He is in you!
He emptied Himself on that cross so that now you are complete in Him!
In the Garden of Gethsemane, He deeply feared the wrath of God, and He feared being excluded from the presence of His Father so that now you have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind!
He's the perfectly sanctified One and in Him, you are sanctified and one with the sanctifier, therefore Jesus calls you his brother!
On that cross, He was cut off from God's grace, obtained no mercy, and found no help from anyone in His greatest time of need so that now you can come boldly to the throne of grace, that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need!
All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus bodily, and through His perfect work, you have been given exceedingly great and precious promises, that through them you may be partakers of the divine nature!
He's the saltiest salt and the brightest light of the world so that now, in Him, you are the salt of the earth and the light of the world!

That's my King!  I wonder if He's your light of lights today?!

He's a friend of tax collectors and sinners, and now He calls you His friend!
He produced the most beautiful, sweetest, and longest lasting fruit through His life, death, and resurrection so that now you are chosen and appointed by Him to go and bear lasting fruit!
He was the most submissive, joyful, righteous, and obedient slave of God to ever live on earth so that now you are a slave of righteousness and a slave of God!
He left all His glorious, heavenly inheritance in order to come to earth, take on human flesh, and suffer for your sins.  In Him, you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ!
He gave His body to be beaten, hit, spit upon, and crucified so that now you are a member of the body of Christ!
Through His death and resurrection, the first fruits of the new creation have arrived so that now, in Christ, you are a new creation!
He was the greatest saint Who ever lived, so that now, in Him, you too are a saint!
He was holy and righteous like no other so that now, in Him, you are holy and righteous too!
He was exposed, naked, and abandoned on the cross so that now your life is safely hidden with Christ in God for all eternity!
Jesus, the beloved Son in Whom the Father was well pleased, was made an object of wrath on the cross so that now you are the elect of God, holy and beloved!
Jesus, the only true Person of God Who alone lived a fully pleasing life in the Father's sight, was the Priest Who interceded with His own body on the cross so that now you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, the people of God!
On that cross, all His strength was dried up and consumed; He was a man Who had no strength so that now you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you!

That's my King!

On that cross, He did not even receive a cup of water when He needed it so that now you have all your needs supplied according to God's riches in glory by Christ Jesus!
On that cross, He seemed to lose all confidence when He cried out, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?!" so that now you have the LORD as the strength of your life and as your confidence!
In His glorious death and resurrection, Jesus triumphed over all His and your enemies so that now you shall always be led by God to triumph in Christ!
In the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross, He endured and triumphed over the greatest worries, fears, and anxieties ever known to man so that now you can cast all your worries, fears, and anxieties on God because He cares for you!
On that cross, He was forsaken and left utterly alone so that now you are never alone for Christ is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you!
On that cross, Jesus manifested the ultimate picture of the greatest strength wrapped in the most lowly weakness so that now you should boast in your weaknesses that the power of Christ may rest upon you because His grace is sufficient for you, for His strength is made perfect in weakness!
Through the cross of Christ, God brought the greatest good out of the greatest evil so that now, though you are not a lot of things you should be, you can take heart since God has chosen the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are so that no flesh should glory in His presence!
Through the resurrection of Jesus, God did what is impossible for man.  Therefore, your God is the God of the impossible so that now, in any and every hopeless situation, against all hope you can have hope in your great God of the impossible!  Your God is the God of the resurrection so you can  grow strong in your faith, giving glory to God!

That's my King!

Through the cross, Jesus purchased all you need for life, ministry, and godliness so that now you have your sufficiency from God, and He is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work!
On that cross, He was a fragrant offering and a well pleasing sacrifice to God so that now you have God working in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure!
On that cross, He more than conquered all your enemies so that now you will do valiantly through God for it is He who shall tread down your enemies!
On that cross, He was shut out of the glorious, all satisfying presence of His Father because of your sin so that now you will have fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore one day forever in God's very presence!
On that cross, Jesus endured the hardest and most infinite affliction in your place so that now your momentary and light affliction, which is for a moment, is working for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, and your present sufferings are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in you!
In His life and death, Jesus shed many tears; endured much pain and sorrow on your behalf; and resisted every sin all the way to an obedient death on the cross so that now you have certainty that one day you shall have no more tears, no more sorrow, no more pain; there shall be no more death and no more sin!
The Father's love for the Son is infinitely great.  Yet He did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all.  Therefore, since He has given us the greatest gift imaginable in His Son, surely He will also freely give us all things!

That's my King!  Is He the great thing of "all things" to you?

In His life and death, Jesus experienced tribulation, distress, persecution, hunger, thirst, nakedness, peril, the nails and spear at the cross, and the infinite wrath of God so that now you shall not be separated from the love of Christ for any of these reasons or for any other reason in the universe.  No trial in your life should ever make you doubt God's love for you.  Even in all your hardships, God's love is strong toward you.  He has given the greatest evidence of His love for you at the cross when He crushed His one and only beloved Son in your place!
On that cross, the Father did not come to Jesus' aid in any way so that now you have certain and unshakable promises causing you to be strong, courageous, and fearless because God is with you, and He is your God and will strengthen you and help you and uphold you with His righteous right hand!
On that cross, Jesus was excluded from the joy of the LORD so that now you will one day enter into the joy of your LORD!
Jesus went to the cross according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, and His enemies were gathered against Him to do whatever God's hand and His purpose determined before to be done.  Therefore, since God is in absolute control of the most wicked action in the universe (the crucifixion of Jesus), and He worked it for your good, you can rest assured in the following truths about God's absolute sovereignty working for your good in every and all situations!
Your hairs are numbered and if not even a little bird can fall to the ground apart from God's will, you should fear nothing for God loves you much more than little birds!
In His book they all were written – every detail of every day fashioned by Him for your good before even one came into being!
All your times are in His hands!

That's my King!

All things work according to His will!
As your days are, so shall your strength be and underneath are the everlasting arms!
Your right hand is held by God, and He will guide you with His counsel!
Everything worked against Jesus for His destruction on that cross so that now, all things, even those things meant for evil against you, are working together for your good!
Because of Jesus' perfect life and death, if you sin, you have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous!
If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness!
On that cross, the Father was against Jesus, condemning Him for your sake, so that now you can never be condemned because God is absolutely for you forever and no one can be against you!
In His death and resurrection, Jesus more than conquered all powers, enemies, and evils so that now you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you!
On that cross, Jesus was crushed by God with the equivalent of an everlasting punishment so that now you are loved by God with an everlasting love!
On that cross, Jesus was cut off from the fullness of God's house and drank from the river of His wrath so that now God satisfies you with the fullness of His house and gives you drink from the river of His pleasures!
On that cross, the Father delighted to bruise the Son so that now God delights in you and as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so shall your God rejoice over you!
On that cross, the Father rejoiced to punish the Son so that now God will rejoice over you with gladness, and He will quiet you with His love!

That's my King!

Jesus, the greatest treasure in the universe, was abandoned on the cross so that you might be God's special treasure in Christ!
On that cross, the Father showed no mercy to the Son, so that now you might give the Father pleasure when you hope in His mercy!
On that cross, Jesus' appearance was marred beyond human form.  There were no smiles on His face and no laughter came from His mouth so that now you may smile at all your enemies and laugh at the future because of the salvation He purchased for you!
On that cross, the delight and desire of Jesus' heart, His very own Father, abandoned Him so that now if you delight yourself in the LORD, you will receive the desires of your heart!
While Jesus was on the cross, darkness was over the whole land and the light of the world was extinguished so that now one day you might shine like the sun in the kingdom of your Father!
On that cross, the Father withheld all good things from the Son so that now if you seek the LORD, you shall not lack any good thing!
On that cross, the Father pursued the Son with anger and condemnation so that now your heavenly Father, like the Hound of Heaven, is pursuing you relentlessly with goodness and mercy all the days of your life!

That's my King!  That's my King!

"That's My King!" Who's The Death Killer, Life Giver, And Man Thriller!

It's God alone Who kills and makes alive; When Jesus came in human flesh these powers arrive; And in Him on earth this authority was made to thrive; From this the truth we must derive:  you must bow to Jesus as Lord and God in order to survive, be revived, and from heaven not be eternally deprived!
He put an end to death's slavery by His unparalleled bravery so that life for us could be unimaginably savory!
He's the Author of Life, suffered under the knife, will finally put an end to all strife, and He's better than any husband or wife or anything else in all of life!
He's the Living Water Who raised the dead daughter and saves sinners from the hell that's hotter by His own slaughter as the great sovereign Potter!
He's the Living Bread Who bled until He was dead in order to spread the unspeakable joy that lies ahead!
He's the Living Stone Who's the Savior alone; He was whipped to the bone and died with a groan in order to ascend to the throne so that all our enemies might be forever overthrown!
He's the Living Word; To ignore Him would be absurd; Listen to Him that your heart might be stirred, and take His Gospel to all those who've never heard!
He's the Living LORD Whose Word is a two-edged sword; with Him you should never be bored but only floored the more He's explored; He can't be ignored but only and always forever adored!

That's my King!  I wonder if you know Him today?!

He said only believe; His grace you'll receive; Your side He'll never leave; to Him alone must the desperate cleave; No need to grieve; He'll fill you with delight impossible to conceive!
Don't ever doubt; cast every fear out; all anxiety you can live without and be filled with joy that exceeds any amount and even makes you shout!
Jairus' little girl was dead; his heart filled with dread; hopelessness seemed to spread; But then Jesus said:  "Little girl get up from your bed!" She rose up and was fed by the Living Bread and amazement with Jesus was quickly widespread!
To conquer death He died; He was crucified; sin and Satan He defied; He was pierced in His side; redemption He did provide and opened the flood gates of eternal life worldwide!
Like no other He rose up from the tomb after the earthquake boom; All those who were raised before Him death would again consume, but He was different from the womb and rose up to banish forever all doom and gloom just like He said in the upper room so that perfect fellowship between God and man would once again resume only better than we could ever assume!
Come to Him and forever live; Abundant grace and mercy He'll give and forgive; He won't be vindictive or restrictive, but He'll make Himself forever addictive!
In amazement He'll take your breath away; He'll thrill you each new day; He'll leave you not knowing what to say; May you always follow His way and not sway or go astray but only pray and obey and may our great Lord Jesus Christ come quickly without delay, even so Lord come back today!

That's my King!  That's my King!
