It's God alone Who kills and makes alive; When Jesus came in human flesh these powers arrive; And in Him on earth this authority was made to thrive; From this the truth we must derive: you must bow to Jesus as Lord and God in order to survive, be revived, and from heaven not be eternally deprived!
He put an end to death's slavery by His unparalleled bravery so that life for us could be unimaginably savory!
He's the Author of Life, suffered under the knife, will finally put an end to all strife, and He's better than any husband or wife or anything else in all of life!
He's the Living Water Who raised the dead daughter and saves sinners from the hell that's hotter by His own slaughter as the great sovereign Potter!
He's the Living Bread Who bled until He was dead in order to spread the unspeakable joy that lies ahead!
He's the Living Stone Who's the Savior alone; He was whipped to the bone and died with a groan in order to ascend to the throne so that all our enemies might be forever overthrown!
He's the Living Word; To ignore Him would be absurd; Listen to Him that your heart might be stirred, and take His Gospel to all those who've never heard!
He's the Living LORD Whose Word is a two-edged sword; with Him you should never be bored but only floored the more He's explored; He can't be ignored but only and always forever adored!
That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!
He said only believe; His grace you'll receive; Your side He'll never leave; to Him alone must the desperate cleave; No need to grieve; He'll fill you with delight impossible to conceive!
Don't ever doubt; cast every fear out; all anxiety you can live without and be filled with joy that exceeds any amount and even makes you shout!
Jairus' little girl was dead; his heart filled with dread; hopelessness seemed to spread; But then Jesus said: "Little girl get up from your bed!" She rose up and was fed by the Living Bread and amazement with Jesus was quickly widespread!
To conquer death He died; He was crucified; sin and Satan He defied; He was pierced in His side; redemption He did provide and opened the flood gates of eternal life worldwide!
Like no other He rose up from the tomb after the earthquake boom; All those who were raised before Him death would again consume, but He was different from the womb and rose up to banish forever all doom and gloom just like He said in the upper room so that perfect fellowship between God and man would once again resume only better than we could ever assume!
Come to Him and forever live; Abundant grace and mercy He'll give and forgive; He won't be vindictive or restrictive, but He'll make Himself forever addictive!
In amazement He'll take your breath away; He'll thrill you each new day; He'll leave you not knowing what to say; May you always follow His way and not sway or go astray but only pray and obey and may our great Lord Jesus Christ come quickly without delay, even so Lord come back today!
