"That's My King!" Who Took All Our Blame So That For His Name We Would Have No Shame But Spread His Fame And Never Be The Same!

If of the Christ we are ashamed; On His great day we won't be claimed; May this as our sin not be named; But rather let Him be proclaimed; On our behalf His life was maimed; And all God's wrath forever tamed; For all your sin the Son was blamed; And rose up life to be reclaimed; For God's glory is what He aimed; And for this goal your heart inflamed; Because He loved those Satan claimed; And died for those who were ashamed!
His Words are life and they're all true; Though earth and sky may all fall through; His Words will stand – this world make new; So may we always preach this Jew; And tell the world: "This Christ look to!"; "Please trust in Him – He will save you!" And all that's sin and sad undo; With grace and mercy He'll pursue; And all your enemies subdue; Looking to Him, you'll be made new!

That's my King!  Do you know Him?!

Jesus' demands are often hard; "Impossible!" some do regard; But what with man is locked and barred; Christ opens up – the chains discard; For on that cross His body scarred; His back and head broken and marred; Hell's gates He crushed and did bombard; Now death is dead – all life He'll guard; So if you fail and Christ discard; Repent and trust His mercy card; Play it with hope and don't be jarred; For all His children He'll regard!
One day He'll come at the consummation; To be adored by every nation; The Father's glory on demonstration; The holy angels in formation; May we live a life on Christ's foundation; With an eye to His day of acclamation; Speak up for Him – man's only salvation; And teach His ethics – a high expectation; But most of all preach His cross devastation; For there in great shame He endured condemnation; And rose up from the grave – His coronation; To remove your shame if you'll trust His mediation; He'll acknowledge you forever in great celebration!

That's my King!  That's my King!
