He's the ultimate storm chaser and the ultimate storm crusher all at the same time!
He brought mother nature into this world, and He can take her out!
She always obeys His every command instantly, happily, and without talking back!
She shuts up, puts up, and hushes up at His every direction or correction!
He can tell all the 343 quintillion gallons of water in the oceans of this world to do exactly what He wants, when He wants, and how He wants!
The wind and the seas obey Him!
No destructive, demolishing tornado is outside of His control!
Every hurricane twists just as He pleases, when He pleases, where He pleases, and for as long as He pleases!
Every Tsunami must get His permission to form, grow, and strike land just as He sees fit!
Earthquakes can't break, quake, awake, or take unless He allows the earth to shake, and it's all for His own name's sake!
That's my King! Do you know Him?!
He revealed His glorious rule over nature to His disciples in that little boat on the Sea of Galilee!
He made the water that floats the boat!
He created the trees for the wood that was used to make the boat!
He made the water that formed the storm clouds!
He made the air that caused the storm to blow in over the sea!
He controlled the high and low pressures that made the wind that caused the waves like sea billows to role!
He was at peace in the boat because He rules the world, even when He's fast asleep on the cushion unfurled!
Boats don't sink, crash, or collide unless He decides, and that may happen as He guides just to break your pride!
He stood up and cried: “Peace! Be still!” and proved that mother nature truly has no free will!
He made the sea as calm as glass and made the wind die down at last!
He turned the great storm into a great calm, and this God alone can do according to the Psalm!
Only God rules the raging sea and so Jesus' identity is key!
He's God in the boat, and He's the only reason they're still afloat!
That's my King!
God in the boat is a frightening thing, especially if He's not your King!
My King hates sin, and if you don't know Him, you'll wish your life on earth had never been!
But there's hope for you if you see your sin!
My King in the boat Who calmed the storm, He allowed Himself to be consumed by a storm of another form!
On the cross the storm of God's wrath swallowed Him whole, so that by grace through faith He can save your soul!
But God raised Him from the dead just as He always said!
So that the greatest fears of life you no longer have to dread!
His death caused an earthquake that shook the earth!
His resurrection brought the wind of the Spirit Who gives new birth!
Lightning and hail, snow and clouds, and stormy winds all carry out His perfect, sovereign will!
Take refuge in Him and all your greatest hopes and dreams, desires and longings He'll fulfill!
One day soon He'll return to calm all storms so that Christ we might adore!
And find in Him fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore!
