Jesus loves to start with nothing and make everything!
He'll take all the wrongs in the universe and makes them all right!
He'll take everything sad, bad, and mad in your life and make it all glad as if it never had when He brings you to His everlasting Dad!
He chose Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who were liars, cowards, cheaters, and deceivers, but by grace through faith He made them the fathers of the faithful, fearless, and fruitful!
With His Apostles He started with less than nothing: they were bad in the wrong direction, and He made them all good except for one and even that was apart of His plan!
Deniers, doubters, double-crossers, and denouncers were all chosen as His Apostles, but He died for sinners like them so that they all could be saved!
He's the King of the come-from-behind victory; He loves to wait until winning seems impossible, and then He always overcomes in triumphant victory!
That's my King! Do you know Him?!
He loves to give barren women children to show His power to choose the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are so that nobody will glory in His presence because the glory's all His!
He loves to win battles with the smallest, weakest armies to get all the glory for Himself – the Lord of war and the General of generals!
We do things and mean them for evil, but He means them all for good!
He's working everything for the good of His people!
On that cross, what was truly the worst of the worst crimes and sins ever committed was meant by Him to be the best of the best accomplishments ever imagined for the salvation of sinners and for the glory of God!
And God raised Him up from the dead to show His satisfaction with His Son and so that He might redeem all those who would ever turn from their sins and trust in Him!
He took the worst situation imaginable – the crucifixion of the Son of God – and turned it into the greatest situation ever conceivable – a way for sinners to be reconciled to God!
He can take whatever is the worst of the worst situations in your life right now and turn it into the best of your bestest dreams if you keep trusting Him right now and forever!
That's my King! That's my King! Will you trust Him today and forevermore?!
Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah . . . has conquered . . . Revelation 5:5
But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ . . . Galatians 6:14
You have been very angry with your Anointed One. Psalm 89:38
For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:2
Let the motto upon your whole ministry be - "Christ is All!" - Cotton Mather
