Christ Is The Son Whom God Has Sent
He's God And Man Whose Life Was Spent
For Us He Suffered Hell's Torment
Then Rose To Crush All Death's Lament
In Him We're Sons To Full Extent
So Trust The Son: Believe, Repent
His Spirit Dwells Within Your Tent
And "Abba Father!" Cries Content!

That's my King!

Christ Jesus Came So You Would Know
The One True God Who Saves From Woe
For Through His Son He Came To Show
The Way To Freedom – Life Bestow
Christ Died And Rose For All We'd Owe
There's No More Slavery – Mercies Flow
So Cling To Christ In Him You'll Grow
We're Free He's Conquered Every Foe
Our God Forever Us He'll Know!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

Christ Formed In You Is God's Great Goal
And Though You've Sinned And Lied And Stole
Christ Died And Rose To Save Your Soul
Then Lives In You To Make You Whole
All Thoughts And Deeds He Must Control
For Christ Himself Is Our One Goal
Forever Lord Your Name Extol!

Jesus Christ We Make Much Of
Much More Than Any Other Love
Our God Came Down From Up Above
The Spirit Rested Like A Dove
The Father's Pleased And Made Much Of
Christ Died And Rose To Show Us Love
Christ Formed In Us The Goal Above!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!

Jesus The Promised Son Who's Free
He's God In Flesh Oh Come And See
Our Awesome God The One In Three
To Set Slaves Free He'd Come And Be
The God-Man Crushed Upon That Tree
Then Rise From Death And Make Sin Flee
Trust Him And Praise On Bended Knee
From Sin And Death He Set Us Free!

Christ Jesus Burst Up From The Tomb
Since For Our Sins He Died In Gloom
And God's Full Wrath He Did Consume
Now No More Weeping! – Joy Resume
He's Conquered Death And All Our Doom
He Lives! All Hearts Prepare Him Room
He's Conquered Death With Earthquake Boom
Praise Him Our Loving, Saving Groom!

Christ Crucified Before Your Eyes
He Took Your Hell Forsaken Cries
Alone And Cursed Humble He Dies
But Then Crushed Death Alive He’d Rise
By Faith Alone He Is Our Prize
No Works Of Law Salvation Buys
God Gives The Spirit He Supplies
So Trust In Christ Let Faith Arise!

Christ Our Righteousness Saves From The Curse
Abraham Saw His Day As The First
The Scripture Still Speaks By Chapter And Verse
Christ Died For Our Sins To Save The Perverse
Then Rose From The Dead The Curse To Reverse
By Faith Alone We Believe And Immerse
In Christ God Blessed The Whole Universe!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

Those Who Rely On Works Are Cursed
For You've Not Done All God Has Versed
But One Has Come The Curse Reversed
For Christ Obeyed The Perfect First
Yet Died And Took The Curse's Worst
Then Rose The Chains Of Death He Burst
And Now For Him Alone We Thirst!

Jesus Worked For You And Me
Each Law He Lived Out Perfectly
Yet Cursed He Died To Hell's Degree
He Was The Curse Nailed On That Tree
Then Rose From Death To Set Us Free
By Faith We're Justified In Thee
So Turn From Works And To Christ Flee
The LORD Is Good Oh Taste And See!

Christ Is The Offspring Promised Of Old
Through Him And For Him The Covenant's Told
He Came And Lived As No One's Been Bold
The Perfect God-Man More Precious Than Gold
Yet Into The Hands Of Sinners He's Sold
They'd Mock Him And Beat Him And Spit On Him Scold
He Suffered God's Wrath And Died Unconsoled
Then Rose From The Tomb To Break Death's Grip Hold
So Trust In The Son Your Great God Behold
And No Good Thing From You He'll Withhold!

By Faith In Christ The Promise Receive
God's Law Was Given That None Could Achieve
Yet Jesus Did All That God Would Conceive
He Lived And Then Died And Then Rose To Retrieve
All That Was Lost Through Our Sin We Unweave
Flee To Christ Now And To Him Alone Cleave
Trust In The God-Man: Repent And Believe!

Faith In Christ Has Been Revealed
He Died And Rose Salvation Sealed
Now All His Power He Shall Wield
To Do Us Good Our Sins Repealed
We're Sons Of God Baptized And Healed
We're One In Christ No More Concealed
By Faith Alone Confess And Yield
To Christ Our Everlasting Shield!

Christ The Jew Who's Slave And Free
Behold The Man Who Calmed The Sea
It's God We Nailed Up On That Tree
Then Rose To Save Both You And Me
In Him We're One So Come And See
The Love We Show On Bended Knee
It's Proof We Know The One In Three!

Christ Our Leader Did Obey
His Submission Led The Way
And Though He's Perfect Every Day
Yet On That Cross Our God Would Slay
Then Christ Would Rise To Take Away
Our Stubborn Hearts That Go Astray
He Gave Us Leaders To Display
Love And Truth To Help Us Stay
In God's Holy, Righteous Way
So Make Their Call A Joy Today
And Seek To Follow All They Say
You Leaders Tremble, Don't Betray
You'll Give Account To God One Day!

Were You There When They Crucified My LORD?

God's Grace Is Free To Those Who Call
Christ Died And Rose – Alive Stands Tall
From Evil Age Delivers All
Grace To You – Christ Took Our Fall
He Drank The Bitter, Curs-ed Gall
So Glory Be To God Our All!

Jesus' Grace Won't Let You Go
For Him Who Called Has Told You So
Christ Died And Rose His Love To Show
Now Grace To You Will Ever Flow
All Other gospels We'll Forgo
They Are No Gospel Only Woe
For Christ Alone Our All We Know
Cling To Your God And Don't Let Go!

God's Approval Jesus Sought

Jesus Is Our Perfect, Holy Gospel Revelation
He Took Away God's Wrath Through His Blood Propitiation
Then Rose Up From The Dead For Our Whole Justification
He's Reconciling People From All Tongues And Tribes And Nations
Even Made A Jewish Terrorist His Pristine New Creation
Now We Glorify Our God For His Great Renowned Salvation!

That's my King! That's my King!

Jesus Never Ran In Vain
Perfection Lived Without One Stain
Yet For Our Sins The Christ Was Slain
Then Rose Our Freedom To Attain
Now With All Power He Shall Reign
To Live Is Christ To Die Is Gain!

That's my King!

Jesus' Gospel Is What Paul Knew
Christ Died And Rose For Me And You
He Came To Save – Make All Things New
By Grace Through Faith Alone It's True
So Come And Trust The God-Man Jew
You’ll Love The Poor And Self Subdue!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

Away From Christ God Turned His Face
He Stood Condemned And Took Our Place
He Died And Rose To Sin Erase
And Every Tribe And Tongue Embrace
He Died For All – We're All One Race
Step With The Gospel Stay On Pace
By Faith Alone We're Saved By Grace
And Now With Mercy God Will Chase!

Christ Earned By Works Our Justification
He Obeyed God's Law For Our Salvation
By God's Spirit Conquered Every Temptation
Then Died On That Cross For Our Propitiation
Absorbed God's Wrath And Our Damnation
Then Rose From The Grave Death's Cancellation
By Faith Alone In Christ Our Fixation
Forevermore There's No Condemnation
And We Do Good Works Out Of Pure Elation In The Incarnation
We Died To The Law Stipulation
We're The New Creation Who Received Imputation
And Live For God Through Our Sanctification
All For His Honor And Glorification!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him today?!

Jesus Was Never A Servant Of Sin
The Greatest Man Who's Ever Been
Our LORD And God Who Came In Skin
He's Perfect, Pure Without Within
Yet Died For Our Sins So Life Could Begin
He Conquered The Grave Salvation To Win
We Died To The Law Now Christ We Are In
We Live To God And Enjoy His Grin!

That's my King!

Christ Loved Me! He's Crucified
"It Is Finished!" God Has Cried
Then Rose To Justify His Bride
In Him By Faith We've Also Died
And In His Righteousness We Hide
He Lives In Me And He's Our Guide
By Faith In Him We Shall Abide!

That's my King! That's my King!

"That's My King!" Whose Years Have No End Though In Death He'd Condescend To Show A Love You Can't Comprehend!

But You are the same, and Your years will have no end. Hebrews 1:12

This year has come and ends
But from eternity past His life extends
And unlike your resolution that toward failure tends
He always accomplishes everything He intends
On Him your life and hope depends
On that cross He became what offends
So that sinners to God through Christ commends
And all their evil He suspends
For He rose up to make Divine amends
Against all your enemies He defends
And for your faith always contends
As your only Friend of friends
Whose love and beauty all things transcends!

That's my King! Do you know Him?!

He's the same yesterday, today, and forever
He fulfills with perfection every endeavor
If you believe in Him, He'll save whosoever
For on that cross His Father did sever
But He rose from the tomb to die again never
In the new year may He be your greatest treasure!

That's my King!

Crown Him the LORD of all your years
He owns your past and future fears
He'll take away your lonely tears
Turn them into praising cheers
And make sure sadness disappears
He reigns o'er all your earthly spheres
And every sin He paid and clears
His tender, loving, attentive ears
Your cries for mercy always hears
He cares much more than all your peers
We hope and pray His coming nears
When He returns our joy appears
As we crown Him the LORD of years!

That's my King! I wonder if you know Him in this new year?!

All your times are in His gracious, sovereign hand
Each event at His perfectly timed command
Even when you don't fully understand
Nothing He does is done unplanned
We know His plans for you are grand
He's told us in His Book firsthand
"All things for good!" His Word will stand
His glory through your life expand
All your enemies He'll withstand
And hold you in His loving hand!

That's my King!

May delight in Him be your resolution
He's worthy for us to endure persecution
He's the only true solution
To all earth's sin pollution
Not the constitution
Or other government revolution
For on that cross He embraced execution
And took our sinful, godless prostitution
By enduring God's wrath by substitution
Where He took God's angry retribution
In order to make full restitution
To save us from all prosecution
He rose up from death and dissolution
To establish His Bride – the Church institution!

That's my King! Do you know my King today?!

He's the center of all joy and celebration
So stay up late and praise the Incarnation
Of His worship there shall be no cessation
For He's the Lamb Who was slain to save from damnation
And grant us such a great salvation
Winning for Himself everlasting admiration!

A Great New Year Prayer

The Valley of Vision – “Year’s End”

O Love Beyond Compare,

Thou art good when Thou givest,

when Thou takest away,

when the sun shines upon me,

when night gathers over me.

Thou hast loved me before the foundation of the world,

and in love didst redeem my soul;

Thou dost love me still,

in spite of my hard heart, ingratitude, distrust.

Thy goodness has been with me another year,

leading me through a twisting wilderness,

in retreat helping me to advance,

when beaten back making sure headway.

Thy goodness will be with me in the year ahead;

I hoist sail and draw up anchor,

With Thee as the blessed pilot of my future as of my past.

I bless Thee that Thou hast veiled my eyes to the waters ahead.

If Thou hast appointed storms of tribulation,

Thou wilt be with me in them;

If I have to pass through tempests of persecution and temptation,

I shall not drown;

If I am to die,
